Just here to say congrats on a great win. I was livid when the ref said holding on Wesley at the end of the game, but it made sense when they showed that it was actually DJ that did the holding.

Anyways, your offense played great today. Trick/misdirection plays have been Gunther's weakness for a long time, and your offense ran them to perfection. I knew as soon Bledsoe put the ball in the air on the flea-flicker that it was going to be a big gain. The screens and stuff really took advantage of our defense's aggressive personality as well. Also, Good job on converting all the 3rd and longs too. It is pretty sad when you start dreading your defense in 3rd and 10+ yard situations.

On defense you didn't look too hot, but our offense, at least when it is healthy, has a tendency to do that to defenses. The difference is that your defense came up the big play with the long rumbling fumble return by Spears, and our defense just couldn't make the big play today. I haven't read any other threads on here since the game, so I don't know if anyone is worried about your defense after today, but I wouldn't be too nervous about it. When our offense is clicking there isn't much most teams can do, and the only part of our offense that wasn't really clicking was LJ's pass blocking. Don't be surprised if your defense bounces right back and holds Washington to less then 20.

Hopefully next Saturday the Chiefs can take out their frustrations on the Giants and help both our teams out. I wouldn't mind hanging 40+ on what seems to be a pretty beaten up Giants team.

Anyways, here is to an extremely gutsy and hard-fought win by your Cowboys.

Thank You!

The KC O is really something special. Having seen Willie Roaf in the Big Easy for a number of years-it's no surprise that he anchors the line brilliantly.

Don't worry about the Gints-Antonio Pierce will likely be out-Larry Johnson will have yet another gangbusters game.

I think everyone conceded that your O did a great job making our D look bad. We usually play better team ball than we did today, so we'll be expecting a much better showing against the skins next week. It's in DC, so it should be a hell of a game.

This was a pretty offensive day, in a multitude of ways.

I wish more fans were as sportsman like as this guy---

I had no idea the Chiefs were that good on offense. I really didn't. I actually thought there was no way they could run on us if we set out to stop the run. As expected, we didn't stop the pass, but we sure as hell didn't stop the run either. We couldn't stop anything.

As far as offense, I expected us to score and we did. The only thing I expected more of was the methodical clock-eating drives we had early in the season. I didn't see us needing to use trickery and misdirection as much as we did, but I'll take it. I'll always take a win no matter how we get it.

Good luck to you against the Giants. I think you guys have a real good shot at it. Their defense, other than their two amazing defensive ends, is pretty pedestrian. Their offense is prone to mistakes. You guys have a real shot of blowing their doors off and I hope you do. Good luck to you guys the rest of the season!

KC offense is tougher than I thought as well.

One thing, on your board I noticed a lot of people talking about the flea flicker like it is a trick play that is uncharacteristic of the Cowboys, but over the last few years, Parcells has used it with success on a number of occasions. He's probably been incomplete with it a couple of times too, but it's one of his favorite "trick" plays.

That's one of the best opposing fans posts I've ever read on this board... I hope you come back to visit more often.

Thanks much and nice post. I'm not usually one to exaggerate, but I think that was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched- both offenses looked great. I knew KC was very good on offense, but when I watched "Game of the Week" on NFL Network between KC and Denver I knew we were going to have our hands full with LJ. The TD to Kenneson was a similar play to a breakdown Denver had that left Dante Hall all alone. We know we were fortunate to pull that one out. Good luck against the Giants. If you can control their defensive ends (we couldn't) you have a good chance to win.

Flozell needs to watch tape on Roaf so he can learn how to block like him.

Don't stop there... Flo, Tucker and Rob could all use the film time on Roaf as well as the other top OT's playing

thanks for the kind words, lets hope that both teams get a spark out of yesterdays game, and make it to the playo :star: ffs.

Great post, it was a definitely a great game. I knew the KC offense would give us fits, but luckily Stynes (sp) missed the FG to send it to OT or it would have likely gone down to the coin flip as both teams seemed to be moving the ball very well. Good luck against the G-men next week, I'll definitely be pulling for ya. ;)
