I know about randle and that story still the quote was about Murray as i said. And he was right with it. Stupid guy or not.

Murray had fundamental problems after he hit open field or got thru the first line of the defense. Even moderator were making fun of him. And he never was good in goal line situations. Also a reason why his TD production was low even when we were such a run based team during his lone great season with us (2014).

In his rookie season murray avg 5.5 yds thats true. But he only started 7 games, the rest was backup role. Dont try to sugarcoat stuff so it fits your agenda. Every backup RB or change of pace back has high stats that arent compareable to the primary RB.

In the following season (2012) where he started 10 games his avg dropped to 4.1. Still ok but the big dropoff in production is noteworthy just because you try to make him look like he was exceptional. Which is not true.

And further its not true what you wrote. He never was productive before we assembled that great line:

His first 1k yrd season was in 2013. In that year the OL already had its final 4 members, with only RG Martin missing. And that RG we were fielding was Bernadeau, a bad pass protector but very good run blocker.

His "breakout" season was a year after with Martin in the lineup. He went for 1.8k, left Dallas to Philly and only started 8 games there. He went to Tennesee after that year were he lasted 2 seasons with 659 yds in his second and that was his career.

As i said Murray was an medicore back. He benefited temendously from our OL and our run based offense.
 
Maybe he can teach them to steal money for 3 years, stay healthy for the contract year and make bank with a rival and inbetween that fumble away a shot at the NFC conference game.

Yes, I know he fumbled that ball in the playoffs. What made it so shocking was the fact that it was so rare. In four years he only lost a fumble 6 times in the regular season.

Didn't realize Tashard was a coach. He might end up a good one. I still remember his pregame hype in college.

This could mean KC wants to run the ball more? They usually are mostly pass. They now need 1 good RB.
Murray was a very good rb, still hold many cowboy records and broke some of emmits, and the NFL record for most 100 yd games in a row. But some here still make fun of him lol.

And essentially he had not more than one very good season with us that establishes his fame around valley ranch. That and also that we werent willing to invest in his replacement also further pushes the myth that he was a good back.

The fumble was bad in that game but for me has nothing to do with how i see him as a RB overall.

Some of you guys...insufferable. DeMarco was a good back when he wasnt dinged up in his early years. I get some grudges over the fumble and leaving for Philadelphia. The Joneses got their money for him that last season and refused to reward him for it so I dont blame him now for going to get his payday. It seemed to be wise on the Cowboys' part, but he was never used right in Philly. That fumble still upsets me, but we got there in large part on his back that year. He wore teams down, kept offenses off the field, and kept that clock running.

Nothing but love for DeMarco, but I am a Sooner fan. I sat directly behind him at an OKC Thunder game last season and he was there very low-key only attending with his daughter that was 6 or under. He was attentive to her all night. Gerald McCoy also walked up at halftime and talked with him for a bit. He graciously spoke with us, shook my hand, and took a selfie with me.

Yeah I have a different memory of him. I thought Demarco was a good back who injuries derailed. The notion that anyone can run behind a good line….those same people would never say that about Emmitt.
