chiefs willing to trade Glen Dorsey, should cowboys consider him at NT

The Chiefs are down on DL Glenn Dorsey and may be willing to trade him, according to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.

La Canfora says the new coaching staff doesn't like Dorsey, the No. 5 pick in the 2008 draft. Like many other Chiefs, Dorsey landed in coach Todd Haley's doghouse when he showed up to camp out of shape and flunked a conditioning test. Dorsey has been coming around lately and giving up on him just 21 games into his career would be a very surprising move as the trade deadline approaches. He'd also be impossible to trade with a contract including $22.5 million guaranteed.

2. He's getting paid 5th player taken in the draft money.

3. If he could play 3-4 NT well, the Chiefs wouldn't be looking to trade him.

They are probably looking at him as a backup and maybe to come in on the nickel and dime.

Really? How quick do you need to be in a 34 to play DE? He's quicker then either DE we currently have starting.

And to think many criticized JJ's drafts. The chiefs got an A for the Dorsey draft and now it is an F.

They also took Tyson Jackson way too high this last year. Dorsey will go to a 4-3 team and be a monster (and I hate LSU).

Not I. I never liked Spears much. Never thought he was a very good fit for the 34. However, Dorsey was no Spears IMO. Dorsey, I thought, had way more talent.

One of the reasons they have basically given up on him so fast is because last yr in the 4-3, he was awful...and he's been pretty awful this yr in the 3-4 too

He's also got knee issues
