What are some children's films/cartoon films you enjoy as an adult?
There are many I could list. Heck. I subscribe to Disney+ for their Disney collection as much as I do for their Marvel and Star Wars films.

If I were to limit it to three, I would say Frozen, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, in that order. I have re-watched those three the most as far as "children films/cartoon films" are concerned.

Stuff purely marketed for kids - probably nothing.

Stuff made for family viewing - Comic Books, Star Wars, Pixar, Modern Disney Films, etc - probably all of it.

Probably most, if not all, the Pixar movies. I have a strong attachment to the 90's Disney movies (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc.) because that was when my daughter was a little girl and she got so much joy watching them. She also loved watching the original Disney movies as well and I can watch them as well.

I grew up as a child in the 60s and they don’t make cartoons like they did back then. You could tell the creators of those old cartoons put a lot of thought into them. The gags were funny and even adults laughed at them. They don’t even show Saturday morning cartoons anymore. Saturday mornings used to be dedicated to kids and were sacred. Loved all the peanuts and looney tune cartoons, I still watch them.

The Saturday morning cartoons were something special back then. Trying to explain it to the kids nowadays they just cannot comprehend because they now have cartoons 24/7. Saturday morning cartoons was the signal it was the weekend.

It was the best of times back then. I would get up just before 6 AM on a Saturday morning, turn on the TV to a snowy screen or the old Indian head test pattern. Within a few minutes cartoon Saturday would begin.

Does that even exist anymore? Mine are grown. Or do kids have 20+ channels and streamers to pick from now 24/7 so why bother? The glory of Hulkster and the good wrestlers battling Rowdy Roddy Piper and his villain cartoon wrestlers on Saturday Morning followed by Mr.T, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and capped off with Dungeons & Dragons

As far as America goes, true. But, Japanese Anime is still very strong as are cartoons associated with it like Sonic 2
