If this was Lurie's decision I am shocked. If it's Chip leaving and they're just making it appear like a mutual or team thing, I am not surprised. He seems like the type of gutless weasel who would bail.
Hmmmm. Would bring the right amount of ******-factor.
He took big risks that made no sense, he had to make the playoffs to satisfy those moves.
Somehow Garrett is still here though.
Obviously. Chips winning percentage is higher than Reds.
There was something weird going on in Philly from day 1 this year....to many odd calls....to many outlandish player issues to think he really cared to win. Make no bones about it, Chip Kelley wrecked the Eagles to get fired and go back to College.....
Not shocked at all.....don't think his heart was ever into coaching in the NFL.... He left College cause Philly through crazy money at him and the NCAA was gonna levy fines on him and Oregon.... Now he is free to go back to College
Come on Texas Longhorns......step up and get real coach..
Did he have any money left on his contract?
I'm actually surprised they pulled the trigger and decided to hire him after one bad year. He had two 10 win seasons under his belt, that should have bought him another year.
The Eagles should have just stripped him of his personnel powers.
'Horns don't want his circus, either.
at the end of the day, chip was just too much of a genius for this nfl.
His pink slip came early via FedEx..lol
