He doesn't use the Brown or Coryell style ad nauseum route labeling. It's about man reads, zone reads and route combinations. Sure it's a higher order of complexity than what RG3 and Wilson did but I would watch those guys run 3 plays all nuanced and read a bit different. I counted Wilson running the same read option play, routes and all, 7 times in the super bowl.
If you have say 40 of those plays then you could feature 3 new plays a week and stick with a core of 4 plays. In college he probably pared it down even further which resulted in new stuff every week. It kind of misses the point of what is going on to say he 'changed the offense every week.'
Maybe he has enough different looks to keep NFL DCs confused but it's still going to be Bradford and the scrubs out there making those reads. They are going to need to continue to be a running team.
