I know you guys don't like a lot of new threads after games, but I was watching post-game shows and haven't heard anything about Choice and a possible concussion?

Anybody have updates?

the way the NFL has focused on concussions this year it would seem Choice probably wont be suiting up next week. Just a guess on my part ofcourse. Hopefully Pat Watkins can make it back to augment the special teams.

Running back Tashard Choice will not return today with a concussion sustained in the first half here at Cowboys Stadium. Given the NFL's concussion policy, his status for next week's wild-card game is uncertain.

If we play Saturday I think he's automatically out, according to the new rules on concussions

Don't know, but there has to be a reason they didn't run him ONCE.

No, that's just par for the course....run the #3 more than the true #1 and #2 RB's.....like I've said before Chris Johnson would still be riding pine on this team.....

From what I heard on ESPN - we play Sunday, so at least if gives him one more day to clear the cobwebs. Any know when and how it happened?

Not trying to start a war or anything, but you can't be serious? I think Felix is awesome but I was stoked about taking Chris Johnson. I can't imagine that he rides the bench if we take him instead. He's too good. Like "one of six in NFL history" good.

No, I AM serious....we gave MBIII the contract.....this team is run by contracts....nothing else at this point....get RW off the field and O-Tree on more often like today and we'll see.

Yes, CJ WOULD be on the bench....MBIII would still be starting over him. The media and everybody else would know nothing about him at this point. He wouldn't have had the opportunities to do what he did in TN. There's really no denying that.

We all see that MBIII isn'[t the #1 RB here....yet he is treated like it. Let's just hope that it all works out in this post-season....

Why does everyone keep bringing up the other drafted RBs?

Ju.Jones wasn't the man and everyone wanted MBIII. They signed Barber to be the man, therefore not needing another starter, just someone to compliment him, thus drafting Felix. You don't draft Johnson or any other RB to not to be the starter and you don't draft them when you just signed your RB, as a starter.

With that...what happened to Choice? I missed it. Was it the return?

I hate to hear that about Choice. This probably does mean he won't play next Sunday given how serious the league has cracked down on these types of injuries. I have no issue with that either cause they really should be very careful with those injuries.

witten got his bell rung on the play before the long felix td, gurode was waiving to the bench for someone to come get him...he was really woozy.....I dont know how the officials didnt call timeout and make him leave the field.....SHAME on ron winters...

witten started to walk to the bench and when gurode turned around witten ran back into the huddle. then witten has a key block on the huge touchdown......

The guy is a warrior.

it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

I'm not following your logic here. You mean we drafted Felix to be the starter whereas we wouldn't draft Chris Johnson because he WOULDN'T be the starter? You don't think that Chris Johnson (and his 2,000 yards via his 4.23 speed) would have complemented Barber?

I would disagree. Like I said, I like Felix just fine, but Chris Johnson is outstanding.

Enough with this Chris Johnson crap. Johnson fits what Tenn is doing and Felix fits what Dallas is doing. Also, pretty 2/3rds, 3/4ths of the NFL passed on Johnson not just the Cowboys.

Funny but I thought Barber played well today. I guess I was wrong though.

Choice won't be available next week more thank likely because of the new NFL policy regarding concussions.
