Given the choice, as a fan would you rather see this team finish 3-13, knowing Garrett and Dak will likely be replaced or 13-3 and play in NFC championship game? Of course, that would put BOTH Garrett and Dak in line for 2019 extensions.

You'd be surprised.....I actually did a similar thread the first of year asking if fans would want a Super Bowl with Garrett getting an extension or new coach at the cost of a losing record. Results were only 60-40 for Super Bowl....

Doesn’t surprise me. People are locked into their opinion. Winning wouldn’t make them wrong and they care more about being right than winning.

I would be much more important to be 13-3. That would all but solidify that the QB position is in good hands for the next 10 years. Although getting rid of Garrett is a priority, having to risk drafting another QB and going through 3 more years of growing pains would be a horror show.

Man I just want to win. In my mind for this to be a debatable question wed have to be 10-6 ish with a loss within the first two playoff games.

Even then though its tough for me to say big picture and actually choose a losing season.

You guys love drawing up these fairytales to assess one's fanhood. This team isnt winning 13 games or advancing to the conference championship, if they make the playoffs at all. So how about a more realistic choice? 5-6 wins and Garrett canned or another medicore 8-9 win season where we dont win a playoff game but Garrett does enough by the optics to buy himself another year?

Honestly, this is an easy answer.

As badly as I want Garret gone......

And as concerned I have been about Dak’s play lately....

If the team goes 13-3 and makes a championship game, it probably means they both perform pretty well this season. For that to happen.

Plus, we are fans. Just win baby.

13-3 and championship game. if garrett and dak can get there, then great. if you choose 3-13, you are putting your hatred of dak and garrett above the team. I am sure they will come up with excuses that garrett can't get us to 13-3 and so 3-13 is what we should be...

he didn't ask for evaluation......he asked hypothetically....13-3 or 3-13...binary choice...but given your disdain for garrett, you gave a long answer trying to explain why 3-13 is the right answer. you fail

Championship game of course! No true fan wans to experience a 3-13 season, regardless of circumstances.
