The pick on Crayton was textbook and should have been called. The problem is that it often isn't called.

I have no problem with that call if it was a consistent call across the league. Cooley ran an even more obvious "pick" on a Betts third down conversion last week and the officials simply watched it occur.

I disagree. Crayton didn't actively seek out the defender and aim at him. If anything, it should of been PI on the defender. What if the ball had been coming to Crayton? Now all a defender has to do against us is run into a WR and get a pick called in his favor? Ridiculous. The defender screwed up trying to come underneath the slant and got bailed out by the refs.

Watch again,Crayton looked like a soccer player protecting his family jewels on that pick. It was textbook and that showed that he did actively seek out the defender.

Agree to disagree then.

Regardless of whta Crayton's intentions were, the Defender that got "picked" took a bad angle in his coverage. If he's come over the top Crayton wouldn't of been near him.

Ditto.

It was an absolutely terrible call.

The block was made BEFORE the lineman even touched the rusher. Terrible. Also, it looked like Crayton didn't even see the DB that was picked. Another questionable call.
