Chopping block

no one else on the team is even close to his production.

Tackles are a measurable defensive stat.

and he makes a ton of them.

why isnt anyone else making tackles like Jaylon?
tackles are a measurable stat. I never said it wasn't. but its not the only measure and there is a lot of other stats that need to be part of the evaluation.
why isn't anybody else? he is the MLB, the busiest area of the field. again, what's his pass break up numbers, average depth of tackles, etc.

I have argued before, he is a liability in coverage and can't do sideline to sideline any more. he is a 2 down LB, that would be good in straight ahead attacking the LOS, picking a whole looking for the LB or occasional blitzes....he is obviously now down the depth chart. so what's the cost for a 4th string LB in the league?

some one should ask Jaylon to do a 40 now and lets time him.....what's a LB that run 4.9 good for?

Only if he's taking an important roster spot. If there is a different position in desperate need...then I cut him. Brown would not be the "progress stopper", Jaylon would.

I'm not convinced that is the case or the need. But it is a pretty terrible situation....that much money is a "depth player". Dayum.
The team will carry so many LB's anyway, and I doubt losing who would otherwise be the bottom of the depth chart LB on the roster would cost us a guy with great potential.

It's as you said.....trash! Only 500 yards from the worst. But hey thank GOD for all those 6-7 yard tackles! Our savior.

average rush is 4 yards.

He’s made a ton of tackles. No one else on the team is even close to his production.

until we see a drop, he stays as the starting MLB.

enjoy Haters.

Ah....couldn't wait to use the hater card. But hey....if noting that Jaylon CAN NOT land on his left leg makes me a hater....I'll take the whole Hater deck.

I don't get the Anthony Brown hate. The dude is a steady starter and a veteran. Sure, you want to see the new toys out there but why would you want to replace Brown right now when he is steady and knows his job? You people are crazy

That is correct.

Last year we were STRAIGHT up TRASH! Some said the worst in Dallas history. In at least some ways indeed.

I've shown it before, Smith jumping up to block a pass. he would NOT come down on that foot. If that doesn't raise an alarm to you...you have some other agenda, purposely ignoring the liability.

Never said he wasn't a liability, but all you said means nothing. With all of the issues that he has, he still has been the leading tackler on this team.

We drafted a ton of corners, but none of them are going to be starters, this season anyways, so there is frustration.

Brown ran a 4.3 at his combo. He is very fast.

he’s the reason Chido left.

Ive been following the #HateJaylon agenda on here for a while.

it’s totally ridiculous.

no one mentions anything about his stats.

weird.

Oh....I have to admit....I'm somewhat critical of Jaylon. It's in my post record...I won't deny it.

I just happen to think. .he has some problem with the leg. I do not consider it hating....but around here....some do.

weird.

i made serious post but wanted it to be light fun hearted and posted that picture mem of he and lee side by side Lees all pro 2016 season vs JS 2020 season and sat wise S,its was comparable or better..

after 4 pages the mods decided to go all power trip on me and delete it saying it was troll post..we know how the mod feels about JS a cover up is in play..

It’s personal for you guys. At the end of the day if these are your depth guys you’re doing ok. I never get why fans would destroy depth in favor of a 6th or 7th rounder. This team isn’t deep enough to be letting guys go.

With LVE keeping #9 is the right thing sense he would not get a trade and cutting him costs the same money....If LVE goes down #9 is not the worst backup in the league..he just is not able to perform up to contract because of his health...next year he will be released...

I agree 100%.

J. Smith- Trade, if you cut him huge cap hit.
A. Brown- He's one of your starting corners as of right now so who's better

If we cut malik hooker it just shows we can't evaluate safeties...
By week 6 he's your legit free safety starter WITH GENUINE PLAYMAKING ABILITY
