NFL Network is saying he's the next Luke Keuchly. He's projected to go in the 2nd round. Probably the best 4-3 MLB in the draft. I think Lee has the speed to play WLB if we were to move him over there. What do you think?

Borland is pretty good. I don't know about the next Keuchly but yeah, he is really good. He just can't rush the passer and so he drops.

I like Borland. He just plays MLB like it's supposed to be played, like his hair's on fire. Rarely seems outta position. Him and Lee together would be awesome. Wish we could get him in the 4th. Along with about 20 other players haha...

I thought I saw he was written off a few teams boards because of medical. Like the player if all checks out.

I like Borland.
However, he does play the same position as our best defensive player. But then again, that player is often injured.

Team has already said they aren't moving Lee from the middle. Nor should they

That's fine but they better start thinking real hard about a decent backup because he is going to get hurt again.

He really stuck out while watching Wisconsin play. He is one of those second round picks at linebacker who if he can stay healthy will be very productive and a day one starter. If there in round two he needs to be a consideration, but I would guess we would go another direction.

Fits the hope as a strategy model we follow with practically everything.

Why cover yourself when you can just keep your fingers crossed that trends just will just suddenly stop repeating themselves.

That's fine and dandy but he can play the outside and backup Lee in the middle if God forbid he goes down again. Next man up. We need more LB's...

Mayock had him as a sleeper on NFL xm radio this morning.. Said he's a sleeper and just really loves the way he plays. Also he had some great things to say about Jarvis Landry wr. LSU . Said he is super physical and compared him to Hines Ward. I think our offense needs a person like that and I would love to get him in the right round.

I have no issues taking Borland. I love that guy but we'll see. I think we might need to trade down and pick up picks in order to do something like that, IDK.

He is 5-11 with super short arms and doesn't run real fast. That seems like a later round pick to me.

He does have short arms. Like just shy of 30' I believe but the kid can play. He's just one of those guys who sees the game better then most IMO. He reminds me of the Ohio State and Detroit LB Spielman. I think he might be the same kind of player.

And moving him to the weak side would reduce the risk of injury for Lee.

He has a lot going against him physically to be a 2nd round pick. Short arms are just one of the issues. He's 5-11 and ran a 4.8 forty.

If you draft him in the 2nd round, then you're passing on several really talented players that have the odds in their favor physically.

I did not say 2nd round. I actually said we would have to move down to take him so I think he might be a 3rd or 4th round pick, but I do believe it's because people are placing too much stock in his physical as opposed to watching him play. He is good Walker. I really, really like him. If we could pick him up in the 3rd or 4th, I think he would prove to be a steal. He can play.
