Chris Canty

NO way this guy is going to have a great year in 08. he isjust comming into his own , guys like Canty dont coe around often

No way. We better apply the max tender(a 1st and 3rd for $2.5M)

NOwhy would you trade away a sucessful first round pick for a second only three years after drafting him? And yes I know we got him in the fourth but he was projected 1st until eye and knee problems

For what, the 1st pick in the 2nd round? Maybe.

He's good, but in the 3-4 you just need a guy that's stout and doesn't give up ground. Not easy to find, but not exactly once in a lifetime either.

No way... The guy is first round material. In fact he would of been taken in the first round had he not been involved in some type of bar accident where he took a bottle to the eye before the draft. That is the only reason we were able to get him the way we did. He was a sure fire 1st rounder.

Nope.

You do that then you have to out and get a starting DE. I'd rather keep Canty.

Canty and Colombo are two guys the team took a chance on
and both turned out very well for this team. No, neither should be
traded or trade bait.We need to build around these guys and have
a solid foundation.

but...but...we'd still have spears!!:p:

No. I wouldn't give him away for a second, for any reason, and especially not when we can tender him for a 1 and 3.

No.

trade Chris Canty so we can try to draft another player like Chris Canty?

no way i would trade him. D-linemen are very very hard to find, and Canty has really become a solid player. I would bet that he is on the verge of becoming a pro bowl caliber player.

I agree but not often you get 3-4 ends getting pro-bowl satus as they play 4-3 mainly
