I agree but not often you get 3-4 ends getting pro-bowl satus as they play 4-3 mainly

yea good point on the pro bowl. It is difficult for a 3-4 end to make it because they go by sacks so much when voting people for that.

he probably wont ever make a pro bowl (that game is overrated anyway), but he could still be pro bowl caliber

Couldn't have said it any better. Why would they want to trade away a consistent quality player for an unknown especially when he is on a cap friendly contract.
