I have never been a fan of Chris Collinsworth, but when you take the rose colored glasses off, the guy makes sense. As painful as it was to hear, he was dead on last night an alot of points. His comments on quitting, embarrassment, poor coaching, poor scheming, laziness, basically everything that is the 2010 Cowboys, was accurate.

I wonder of JJ had the TV sound on in his suite last night?

Yep, Chris was spot on.

I believe they do have a TV on of the broadcast in the owners box, why?

There was a part during the game last night where they said "Speaking of Jerry Jones" and right when they did, the camera was on the owners box showing them looking up into the corner part of the room where a TV would be mounted.

I think he heard it all :p

Both Al and Chris did a great job last night.

I hope Jerry had his volume turned up in the box because the Dallas Cowboys are the laughing stock of the entire league right now.

I am the opposite side of the ledger with CC, I think he's the best color guy in the business....he diagnoses plays on the field quickly and intelligently....where I agree 100% is that he was dead on point yesterday. He seemed almost angry at what was happening.

If Wade gets fired today we should all send collinsworth a thank you card. His work was splendid last. He was almost begging Jerry to fire Wade. Collinsworth called out everybody and everything. Great job chris.

He's also witty, check my sig.

CC is no idiot. He played the game at a high level fopr a long period of time. He is cerebral, well spoken and gets to the point. That being said, you don;t need to be an expert to see some of the things he mentioned last night. It was obvious that we could not get pressure, could not cover, could not block, could not disguise our blitzes, made poor decisions on the use of TO's and challenges, etc....

This was, as he said, a train wreck.

Yeah, you could tell that Chris really WANTS the Cowboys to do well. But in the end, it is what it is. Seemed like he was saying that there is no easy way around firing Wade even though Chris said he's a very nice guy.

I always liked Collinsworth and Aikman for that matter as commentators.

Yes he was dead on you could tell he felt sorry for wade at times

I generally like Collinsworth, but he was wrong when he was touting Dom Capers as someone a team should hire to be their head coach.

He's had two chances and sucked both times. When are people going to realize that some guys are made to be coordinators and some are made to be head coaches?

What's funny -- or sad -- is the guy on the other sidelines fits into the same category, or at least did four years ago when he was San Diego's defensive coordinator.

So many sportscasters / commentators aren't candid.

Collinsworth is and it is refreshing.

Cris Collinsworth is the best color analyst in Football right now.

I've always liked him.

Agreed hands down and the second guy might be moose though I still like dierdorf...Aikman would be way down on my list I just can't seem to like the guys style it rubs me wrong like fingernails on a chalkboard

I'd like to send a personal thanks to Collinsworth.

Without him completely embarrassing the team even more than they embarrassed themselves, I think Jerry rides Wade out another week.

I think a harsh look from A-Z of this team is desperately needed. Typically, I like my football GM to be a glass is half empty type. These guys need to lose sleep at night over your 45th man or a guy on a practice squad. They need to twist and turn at night thinking what happens if you lose your two backup linebackers and what you can do to fill those holes.

I just think that attention to detail appears to be missing over the past several years. We have gone back to having spots filled with guys with the dreaded potential tag who can't help the team in anyway now. I am drawn to potential as anyone else is but that is a dangerous game to play.
