i dont understand how you guys can hate a player like chris cooley. He plays hard, stays out of trouble and is a borderline pro bowl player.

Their confusing hate with the green monster. Hey, I admit I think Witten is a very good TE, but I'm glad we have Capt. Chaos.

Injury is part of the game. Did you really dominate the first game with your full strenght team? Cowboys controlled it, but they didn't dominate. in the end we won them both. I will grant you this, I would be surprised if either team sweeps the regular season, I see a split. What I think happens is the big game comes in January, we meet again and home field advantage will play the part in the outcome. Classic.

I never said injuries weren't part of the game.

Certainly they are....and certainly they play a part in the games outcome. Just like the second game last year.

And it wasn't just one player....it was a ton of players.....

The first game we controlled.....we lulled ourselves into thinking we had it in the bag.....you surprised us.

I give you guys credit for sweeping us....but don't sit there like most Skins fans and say that, "We destroyed you guys last year and the same will happen this year."

I know you didn't say that, but most Skins fans that come on this board basically think that the team that limped into Fed-Ex was at full-strength and it's the same team you'll face twice this year.

Listen, pretend (heaven forbid) that you lose Samuels, Randel-El, Portis, Marshall, and Rogers. Do you actually think that you'd beat a fully healthy Cowboy team? Would you go to the playoffs losing that much talent.

That's the situation we were in last season.

He wont be a borderline pro bowl player, a pro bowl player or even the best tight end in the division until he is acctually better than our own Jason Witten. Number 82 is better than cooley so he isn't a pro bowler of any kind.

on another note i am happy that the skins can finally finally hold their own now this can actually be a rivalry not just an *** kicking every time! Every skins fan should know that the first game should have been ours if we had a kicker rather than sergio del burrito kicking.

Please......

This is way out of hand....

I was merely commenting on the picture. It was a funny picture and you do have seriously weird characters on your team.

I've taken shots at our guys too.....Take McQuistan for instance. He looks like the guy off MASK. Does it mean I hate the guy?

No....it's kidding....

Heck, everyone used to tell me I looked like Grover off of Sesame Street. But it was in good fun.

Lighten up.

Listen im not gonna get into a cooley vs witten arguement with you because it will just turn into another taylor vs williams arguement. Skin fans love cooley and cowboys love witten and thats the way it is. I said cooley is a borderline pro bowl player because he had better stats than than both Crumpler and Witten (dont forget Witten only went cuz he replaced an injured shockey). yeah i know youre gonna say how cooley was oour 2nd passing option but hey that just means more defenders paying attention to him.

Well after suffering through more then I care to remember, losses to the Cowboys at the last minute (thanks to old number 12, Roger the Dodger, and Clint Who the Uck is That Longley) the first game last year was sweet revenge. Believe me, I know the pain all you Cowboy fans felt that night, but I definitely enjoyed myself. It had been a long time. I rewarded myself with taking my 10 year old son to the 2nd game last year. Priceless memories.

Your logic is flawed.

More defenders are watching him, but he's getting more opportunities. It's like Witten two years ago. He was getting the focus of the defenses because our only other threat was Key. But he still caught 90 passes because we found ways to use him.

Commander fans continue to point to stats to say that Cooley was better, but they ignore the fact that Roy Williams' STATS were better than Taylor's.

Don't forget that Key, TGlenn, and Witten all had 60+ catches for 750+ yards. We were one of the few teams to have that. So, even with Witten being the third option, he still put up comparable stats to your boy who was the focus of your attack.

Oh well.....I got drawn into that one.....

But when these taylor vs williams debates come up cowboy fans always bring up Roy's stats stating that hes the better player because of it. So when i brought up the fact that Cooley had better stats an earlier poster said Witten is better just because he made the pro bowl.

Yes, but when you bring up stats and say that Cooley is better than Witten, then I'm going to show you stats that say Roy is better than ST.

It also means more opportunities (only 9 more....but still). But he's very good. Just not Witten good, yet. He's going to have to prove he can play more of the TE role first before he gets in that class.

Biz i agree with you. Ive seen a lot of cowboy fans saying Cooley isnt that good and his #s are inflated because he was the #2 option. Well if the same thing happened with witten 2 years ago like you said why are cooleys accomplishments less awesome (ha had to use that word)
