Is this what you were trying to do?

2005 CIN 31 422 13.6 47 6td

2006 CIN 36 605 16.8 71 9td

2007 CIN 21 343 16.3 52 2td

my bad but I got it right after I edited it.

If we sign Henry, then expect a Cowboy related public intoxication arrest for an overworked Calvin Hill.

Wow... 9 TD's on 36 receptions in only 13 games.

Line up opposite TO.... Wow.

We could have a 1-2 WR punch with 12 TD's each.

Carson Palmer and his laser-rocket arm were throwing deep balls on those 9 td's....

Tony's might start quacking at 50 yards..

This kid has everything anyone could want in a future number 1, other than the fact he is clearly dumber than dirt.

STILL... .with a full 16 games season.... I like his chances for double digit TD's with Romo.... even if its only 10 TD ;)

Thats what I say! Hey I will be the first to say that it sucks that these guys get arrested and charge as constantly as brushing your teeth. But we all come to realize that as fans we simply want to win by ANY MEANS...!

We all cried and cursed the Cowboys when we signed T.O. but now we have come to be his biggest supporters and admirers for his hard work and dedication to the team. Remember the T.O. HOF thread?

We cursed the Cowboys for signing a recently suspended Tank Johnson but now high five his reversal of attitude, behavior, and model for good decisions. I even hear the second rounder is competiting to start at nose-tackle that will surely readjust the defensive line to move Ratliff to DE. Looks like a pretty good signing now, huh?

We all vowed to never watch the Cowboys again if they signed Pacman and yet here it is July (before camp) and many of you have him starting in place of a premier corner in the league (Henry). Pacman was the face of stupidity and the reason why the conduct policy was installed and initiated by the players. But his "reversal" in attitude, behavior, and first to work/last to leave model and couseling of Irvin and Sanders have the fans drooling of what could be if Pacman is in the secondary.

Sure, he only has one life left of his cat football life, but it seems he is doing and saying all the right things on and off the field.

Henry is a supreme talent and the Cowboys would be foolish to not jump on board with this guy and see what he can do. He is no different than all the other "bad actors" who finally came to realize that their football lives can be enhanced by playing it the right way. They also realize that their image can change to by doing it with America's Team.

The downside is bad PR.We get that anyway.Embrace the hatred. The upside is Top tier players that are very young, for basically nothing. If they mess up then -SEE YA!

The real issue that I would be concerned with is the possible effect it would have on Jones. Because Jones and Henry were team mates back in the day, I would be concerned that Jones would find a running buddy, so to speak, in Henry if he were to be signed here. To me, the only real chance of success, for Jones, is if he is surrounded by guys who are not going to lead him down the wrong path. Not saying he won't find trouble anyway but it would seem that the more you can keep in in good company, the less chance of falling in with the wrong company. If you introduce Henry into the mix, there is already a certain behavior pattern and familiarity with those kinds of behaviors that could ultimatly cost you with not just one player but two. To me, the question is not so much one of Henry but of Jones as well.

You make a good point but it also is like what Newman and Bradie James said when pacman first got to the Cowboys. They are all professional and grown men and must be accountable for their own actions.

They said that they wouldnt babysit pacman and would tell him the right things to do but pacman, just like Henry, must grow up on their on. Because when things go down, it will be Henry and Jones who must suffer the consequences.

I understand that Henry can be a bad influence but Henry and Pacman need to worry about themselves staying out of trouble.

so your going on record as saying we are signing him?

name whatever you want. Its not happening, especially not this season.

if he can help the team for cheap and keep his nose clean fine, but i wouldn't make a big deal out of it:)

The reality of this situation, IMO, is that if they could be relied upon to act like responsible adults, neither would find themselves in the situations there in. While I do agree with you on this point, I don't believe that it's very realistic for us to expect that from them.

Better to just avoid the headache as opposed to fool ourselves into thinking that it can work.
