There is probrably alot of threads about running backs but i figured i would put my 2 cents in about him. I just saw a highlight video of him and i am officially sold we need to get him. Point blank, period. Screw Felix Jones, Mcfadden................. Chris Johnson. That is all.

I agree, I watched a couple of his videos and I was sold. I like him a lot. I still think hes 2nd round, maybe pick 28 if theres a run on backs early. But I like Johnson, his speed when he gets past the line is just mind boggeling. He just flat out runs away from defenders, splts defenders with ease and hes a barber-esque type back in the sense when you do close on him, hes gunna lower a shoulder and apply a hit, not take one.

I would be very happy with him in the 2nd. Barber and Johnson would be incredible to watch. Like thunder and ligthning quick thunder. Instead of the usual thunder and ligthning.

who is chris johnson i never heard of him before.

I definitely would not take him as 1A like you suggested in your SIG... He's a 2nd or 3rd running back. I like his value after selecting a CB and LG (kid from Univ. of Virginia) with the two 1st round picks.

Highlight videos hardly qualify as an excuse to draft someone. They're HIGHLIGHT videos.

Remember the guy that we just didnt resign? That guy Julius? Yeah go watch some of his HIGHLIGHT video's and you'll see a Pro Bowl back that should be in the top 5 in rushing yards.

I'm not saying he's a bad player. I'm just saying highlight video's are made to highlight a players best plays. There are many other things that go into drafting a player besides a youtube highlight video.

And to the other poster, I dont know if you're joking or not.
But if you're not Chris Johnson is a running back from Eastern Carolina who is VERY fast and would possibly be a great compliment to MBIII.

His return ability keeps him out the 3rd round
His catching ability puts him in the second round
His running ability puts hi min to the late first early second
HIs speed makes him a 1st rounder hands down.

I see you have Brian Johnston from Gardner Webb in your mock. Like you I thought for sure he would be a great late day 2 steal but from what I'm hearing the cat is out of the bag and now I would be surprised to see him there at the end of round 3.

I don't know. Hes at best the 5th rated RB and Im not sure that 5 RBs are taken in round 1.

The big three

then Jamal charles then him

I'd rather have CJ than JC

i think he the 4th best in the draft and three will be taken in the 1st

I would love to get Chris Johnson. Perfect compliment to Barber and who knows how good he can be. You can get a great RB in almost any round. But I would no hesitate to take with our second pick of the first round. His 40 time moved him up. He was second or third round material then but not any more.

This guy would compliment the Barbarion perfectly! I like his style and I bet he will be sitting there waiting for us in the 2nd.

Guy has to be one of the fastest football players I have ever seen

take 7-8 carries from Barber, line up in the slot, return kicks

he would be an noice return on the investment from the get-go

Couldnt agree with you more

When I see on here people saying speed isnt that important in a running back well in regards to Chris Johnson its essential in the matter like you said give him the ball 7-8 times then put him in the slot and return kicks and I do believe that speed is important when you return kickoffs
