A DE from my alma mater, Arkansas State. Has been invited to workout as port of the local Dallas day's event. Really hope we draft him late or sign him as an UDFA. Dude is a beast.

Draft is deeper could be a huge reason why. Not only that some guys exceed expectations and others fail.some guys are all hype

Arkansas State is USA conference while Purdue is Big 10. NFL scouts and back office guys still have a prejudice against small programs in DIV 1, never mind small schools outside of DIV 1. Our very own Will McClay even admitted as much, he prefers kids from the Big programs in the Big Conferences. Says they are more pro ready.

Wonder what the Walter Payton's, Jerry Rice's, Demarcus Ware's, etc. feel about that kind of thinking. McClay would not have drafted Romo, perhaps not even have pursued him in UDFA either.

Sun Belt, not conference USA. Same conference that Ware played in
