Do you really think that Tampa Bay does a better job of buildling a team than Jerry Jones? You might want to rethink that idea. Yes. Your team has improved and your defense is good, but your last trip to Dallas wasn't a good one. Dallas had multiple players on defense eating turkey legs after the game. Plus, you are coming to our house again this year. That doesn't bode well for you. The Cowboys are going to take their frustration out on your Suckaneers for not beating the Giants last January. Thanks for the help. Payback is coming to your team. In fact, if Simms is acquired, he might see action after Romo throws 5 more touchdowns.

This is how you build a football team:

2003 Draft

Terence Newman (First Round) #5
Tony Romo (Undrafted Free Agent)
Jason Witten (Third Round)
Bradie James (Fourth Round)

2005 Draft

DeMarcus Ware (First Round)
Marcus Spears (First Round)
Adam Jones (First Round) Acquired via trade
Kevin Burnett (Second Round)
Marion Barber (Fourth Round)
Chris Canty (Fourth Round)
Jay Ratliff (Seventh Round)

2007 Draft

The "oilman" traded out of the first round and acquired a 2008 first round pick from Cleveland. Then, he traded back into the first round and drafted Anthony Spencer at number 26. Plus, he nabbed Deon Anderson in the sixth.

2008 Draft

He took Cleveland's pick and turned it into Felix Jones and traded up to get Mike Jenkins at number 25 with Dallas' original pick.

Felix Jones (First Round)
Mike Jenkins (First Round)
M. Bennett (Second Round)
T. Choice (Fourth Round)
O. Scandrick (Fifth Round)

Plus, he stock-piled picks for 2009.

Plus, the kicker of this draft is this. He acquired Adam Jones (the 6th player drafted in the first round of the 2005 draft) for a fourth round pick. Then, he recouped the fourth round pick the night before the draft from the Dolphins.

Free Agents:

Terrell Owens (Can you say Touchdown?)
Leonard Davis (Can you say domination?)
Ken Hamlin (Can you say Pro Bowl?)
Tank Johnson (You will get this one soon.)
Zach Thomas (He still has it.)

Other players:

Andre Gurode (2nd Round; 2002)
Patrick Crayton (6th Round; 2004)
Roy Williams (First Round;2002)
Flozell Adams (2nd Round;1998)
Greg Ellis (1st Round;1998)

Rising Players:

Jason Hatcher (3rd Round;2006)
Sam Hurd (undrafted free agent)
Miles Austin (undrafted free agent)
Isaiah Stanback (4th Round;2007)
Courtney Brown (7the Round;2007)

We need to address the depth on our offensive line, but Jerry will do it next year. Perhaps, we will add a WR in the draft, but Austin has a chance to be real good if he gets healthy.

Finally, this is the Dallas Cowboys. We don't "fly under the radar" . We knock down the front door and take over stadiums after we dominate the home teams in their "Super Bowl".

Quick, join America's Team before you have to watch Jeff Garcia get planted by DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer in Texas Stadium later this season.
Join us. It is the only way.

Not your best work Pittman

Maybe he's still stinging from his last experience in here, and has lost his confidence... he could be the Julius Jones of trolls, for all we know... this may be all the game he has left...

The rumblings are that the Dallas Cowboys are in line to possibly sign recently waived and released Buccanneer's QB Chris Simms.

I have to say that, while Chris could not find a spot on our talent-filled roster, he should be able to slide right into the #2 spot in your QB rotation. This isn't the first time Jerry Jones has ridden a bull in a rodeo during a tournament or anything. He's made key acquisitions before like bringing in Keyshawn "Super Bowl Champ" Johnson after he left the Pewter Pirates. However, on the other hand, on the flip side, he's made some pretty questionable moves as well. Trading away a future hall-of-famer, pro bowler, and speed demon, Joey Galloway comes to mind.

This potential signing falls right into the good move category for Jerry Jones. Taking a tutorial from Bruce Allen would prove beneficial to the Texas oilman. Notice how the Bucs are under the radar, aren't being talked about, have barely gotten any mention in the national press, etc.? You can chalk that up to solid scouting from the scouting department and a general manager that knows how to generally manage a professional NFL League squad.

Gruden/Allen/Glazer saw fit to let Chris fly away on his own...like a baby eagle spreading his feathers for the first time. Why keep him chained to the nest when he has a chance to soar elsewhere? Just another reason why Tampa Bay is the place free agents and seasoned veterans are gravitating to...

Chris Simms will turn out just peachy king for your football team. Go ahead...make the signing. The kid already has the foundation and mental makeup instilled by one of the true geniuses this league has ever seen in Jon Gruden.

Make the move, Jerry Jones. This Bucs fan approves.

Don't listen to all these green-with-envy Boys fans. You're a good writer. Really!

First dont count on Simms being a Cowboy.

Reports are that Simms wants like 2 million a year or more, and you just dont make that much money as a number 3 QB.

Next I have heard reports that Simms didnt look good when he applied for the job as QB with the Ravens.

Now if you competing against Joey Harrington and you cant beat him out for the open job with the ravens.

Finally reports are that the cowboys are strongly interested in Bollinger, who played for the Vikings against the cowboys last week and looked good to the cowboys but was terrible in the game. Bollinger was in the cowboys camp yesterday, so look possibly for bollinger to be signed by the cowboys next week to save money. The way the cowboys will do this is sign Bollinger next week, that way they dont have to guarantee his contract, but just pay him weekly after this week.

Hope that clears up the issue for you. Of course I would like to have Chris Simms here, he has more upside to him, and would be a good number 2 backup.

Did you seriously just say in one post:

1) The Bucs roster is "talent filled"

2) Joey Galloway is a future hall of famer.

3) Jon Gruden is one of the true geniuses the league has ever seen.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :lmao2:

I mean, there is being a homer, there is being a Commanders fan, then there is being the Mother of a player on a team, and then there is you.

Explain to us why your team has so much talent at QB that it has to let Simms go and let him go because your team is just great guys who let him go to help him out. Not saying they are mutually exclusive but it does sound like you're talking out both sides of your mouth. First I'd like to hear why your team has such great talent at QB and I'll give the the first one in Garcia. How many QBs are still there?
