the Miami-TB replay was on and I've seen part of it, including a few series of Chris Simms...his throws looked pretty sharp, though most were attempts of 5-10 yds...he also showed he could take some hits, got sacked twice and hit a couple other times...

I was impressed with Chad Henne too, in time he may be a pretty good starter for the Fish

David Carr and Anthony Wright are fighting it out for the Giants backups. I would take either over Brad right now.

I'd think about Wright. Very mobile. But I'd likely stay with Johnson. I really don't understand why he was catching grief last night.

Because he was terrible.

he wasnt terrible...he threw one really bad pass and probably messed up that busted run play, but the OL blocking was really lousy

if he came in when it mattered he'd be playing with our first OL and our first team skill guys, it would make a difference

I'm not opposed to upgrading him if an obvious upgrade is available, but I dont see any obvious upgrades...Johnson has won a super bowl and doesnt kill a team with mistakes, and those are hue plusses...if Romo had to miss a game or two we'd be ok..
