listed on todays rookie camp roster at 6'3" 295lbs.
thats impressive, thought he was about 270

Broaddus just tweeted the roster but i cant link to it

Whaley was 269 pre-draft, but was reported to be as high as 295 in college. The Roster on DC.com says 272.

I think he dropped weight after the knee injury and now hopefully he has it back.

It highly doubtful that Broaddus has a roster with accurate weights.

Whaley was 269 pre-draft, but was reported to be as high as 295 in college. The Roster on DC.com says 272.

I think they weigh them when they show up and get their gear.

I posted here last week that the ESPN roster had him listed at 295 for a few weeks. Maybe longer but I noticed it then.

One thing's for sure, Whaley has an easier road to the 53 than most others.

Whaley has better pass rush potential.
Bishop is more a 1T and Whaley is more a 3T.

Oh I know, I was just saying in general. Whaley has 3 down potential at 3 Tech. We would be very very lucky or very very misfortunate to have Bishop even be a 2 down 1 Tech

thing about guys like Whaley is that if he's willing to put in the work, he's got the right coaching there in Dallas to get the most out of him. Even if he's a backup, quality depth matters down the stretch.
