With the #2 offense in the NFL, excellent kicker/punter and now being "all good" on defense, anything less than a NFC Championship game seems like under-achievement

Yeah, I don't need to know much about CP. I see exactly who he is from a 5 min clip..

It only took seeing a picture of him gazing earnestly across the field.

Everybody's experience is different but I saw wisdom, intensity, determination, grace, dedication and i felt like I could tell him anything.

His Chi is off the charts and when he enters a room his presence is felt.....thats just my short take though.

Yeah, sometimes you have that presence and sometimes you don't. He has that, but I see competence.

Same guys were saying the same thing about Eberflus this time last year.

I know I wasn't. I never liked that hire for a DC. But the roster was also pretty bad, but still....

I like CP, as I want someone who pays attention to every detail, especially in the secondary. The defense's position coaches have to step up too, because we need effective techniques to stop the run, and create dee-line pressure.

We'll see how this defense unfolds early in the season...but I still expect growing pains. The offense may have to win some games early, and let the defense come together fully by midseason.
