Honestly....It's gonna come down to him putting together a good staff. I might as well throw my hat into coaching the D-line since I probably got more experience than he does. :popcorn:

I don't think he will cost much. They already have a replacement for him. With these new defense coverage, it's good to have someone to call the coverages. I think he's a perfect replacement for Donovan Wilson.

Coach seems like he performs well under a tough leader which we seem to be lacking in our coaching staff. Starting at the top

I smell lack of execution and discipline.

Please prove me wrong.

But I'm on a 30 year roll.
 
I like his communication ability. A big plus. I question the comment about getting players to think you care about them. It can be a good thing or a not so good thing depending on how its handled. On video he sounds good. We will see if he is able to withstand Jerrys culture.

That's what makes this hire so intriguing. We don't know, team doesn't know, and Parker doesn’t know. The staff he picks will be crucial to his success.

Umm maybe you took it too literal, but in Dallas they're no longer Cowboys, meaning they're Dallas Cowboy Careers ended here, and you can make excuses for the guy all you want..

he was a Jag he had no ball skills, along with those two dudes didn't want here most of you ran him out of here in your minds even though you don't control what Jerry does ,

they don't have very good ball skills is what I said, and I'm still saying it and one of them said that you can't give a 100% all the time you remember that guy same with the old we were tired guy that left for Seattle, I don't want those guys on my team,

so yes, their Dallas careers ended and those are the reasons they're Dallas careers ended..

Who cares they're still in the league ,


there's lots of jags in this league both on our team that we get from others and from our team that left, and went elsewhere,

that doesn't make them great, that makes them jags ,dudes that are role players.... they don't have significant roles, they are not stars, they're not Pro Bowlers, they're not all pros, that we left they literally are just existing, what you need to fil out rosters, .

that's how guys like Elam, Butler, Carson ,a couple of the dudes we picked up From Green Bay Balentine etc etc

Check rosters,

maybe you don't understand how rosters are built but outside of the 22 starters ,there are an awful lot of jags on teams, they're called role players..

they are depth most of them are lower on the depth chart but they're necessary, I understand that,

they're still in the league and I never said they left the NFL,

I said their careers in Dallas it's a reason they're not here The same reason we cut Nayshawn Wright he was not good why he was here, and he's barely good in coverage NOW, if you go look at him, he's very opportunistic in a great defense, right now, getting turnovers, but you release guys because they're not playing well ,and just because they hang on in the league is not saying much..

As for with the Cowboys or not is irrelevant in the salary cap and Free agency era!

Actually, some do, They really do,

that's why they're disappointing when they don't live up to their contracts, they were overhyped, and overpaid, and they come back down to reality That's pretty common around here actually but around the NFL you can find it Yep guys get paid that shouldn't...

Apparently, you never heard of a contract year, or a one year wonder, becoming a one off Jag, that got overpaid, because of one season Yup seen it hell I've seen it at the quarterback position more often than not but yeah, the other skill positions lots of them...

That's why teams are constantly eating a lot of dead cap things that don't work out but hey you have your opinion I have mine i'm standing by mine 100 percent so let's move on from this unnecessary debate it's over they're gone....

Except for the 2 seasons before he had degenerative issues with his Achilles and ankle he was part of one of the most dominant pair of starting corners in the league!
