A lot of people guessed that he wasn't smart enough to learn the playbook. What I have been seeing is a ton of physical ability but a ton of little lapses. Not necessarily mental mistakes but things that drive coaches crazy.
The Sammy Sosa stuff before every play is one thing. The over excitement after a nice run when losing is another. He just seems too lost in his personal battle and not the team's situation. Which can be hard if you really believe that you could help the team the most if you were the starter.
I didn't like the hip bump after that drop and I didn't like the fraternizing(and that goes for all of them).
Something just seems OFF with him, which is shame because as we saw on that run that was called back, he has the power to run through Earl Thomas and the speed to get down the sideline. I do think he needs to have a larger share of the carries. McFadden can't be counted on week to week.
