7 games or 70 games - it wouldn’t matter, I know you really want him to be great but Carson Wentz is not good. He’s been surrounded by weapons his whole career and he’s played behind insane offensive lines. Alshon Jeffery was a stud before he went into the Wentz witness protection program. Wentz had the best TE tandem in football when he was with the Eagles (Ertz & Goedirt). He currently has a 6’4 2nd team all-American stud WR from USC (Michael Pittman Jr), a 4x pro bowler; TY Hilton, the best running back in football right now, and yet again a fantastic offensive line.

Dak has turned guys like Michael Gallup, Dalton Schultz, and Cedric Wilson into studs. Carson Wentz puts WR’s in the witness protection program - he’s not the reason the Colts went from 1-4 to 9-6, Jonathan Taylor is.

You do realize 1 week ago this man was 5 for 12 and threw for 57 yards in a professional football game? Low and behold it was against a common opponent; New England. Dak lit them up for 445 yards and 3 TDs.
Only somebody that is intimidated by Carson Wentz would try this hard to make it seem like he's not good.

We beat NYG by 15 in their house and get criticized far worse than GB, who was lucky to beat dumpster fire Cleveland by two! And some Dallas “fans” STILL scoff at the notion of bias!

They also were a failed two point conversation from losing to Baltimores backup

Come on, he practically gave away the first game of the year all by himself, with blatant PI's. Brady showed the league exactly who AB is, and the officials took notice. He seems to have gotten better recently, but his reputation precedes him at this point, and I'm sure any receiver can cry PI on him and get the call 7 out of 10 times.

.. and you believe that's as it should be as opposed to officials calling the game exactly as it happens .. making small allowances for human error? Just like Glavine and Maddux for the Atlanta Braves .. great pitchers but, it was no secret they got a couple inches off the plate that most guys didn't get. It isn't fair to the other players or fans who plunked down their money to see a game called without shading one way or another.

Excellent discussion, by the way

No, I think the officials should call only what they see, or can deduce through logic. My position here however, is that it's human nature to assume that where there's smoke, there's fire. So when a WR complains that a CB tugged on his jersey, if that CB is frequently guilty of doing so, the official is going to be more likely to believe it, whereas a complaint against a CB who is rarely penalized will be met with more doubt.
