Christmas Day NFL games thread

I think the Purdy mvp talk is now officially dead
Maybe. Its hard to really work through it. CMac was not really a difference maker tonight so it is hard to say he is MVP when his great game basically lead to nothing of note for their offense. Lamar has been okay this game but certainly nothing special. Maybe he gets it by default because Dak had a rough game, Hill missed too much time, and even Josh Allen, who had risen in odds, had a bad game. Basically nobody in the MVP race has done anything to boost their case.

First time seeing Baltimore this year.

Amazing how physical they are. We have literally never beaten them. Coincidence? Doubtful.

Anyone want to take a shot at the soft common denominator since the Ravens have existed?

They were still the Browns the last time Jerry won a divisional playoff game, but secret sauce is in full effect.

Seriously how do ever expect to build a tough team with an edge when you constantly pump sunshine on bad performances so you can sell your product and sell everyone on how much football you know?
This is the 4th game I’ve watched. They’ve also looked pretty average at times

Cowboys beat them in 2016.

Rookie Zeke and our amazing OL ran the ball right down their throats all game long.

That was a fun season.

So Lamar is getting his 2nd MVP
Possibly but in the weirdest way. I genuinely think every single other MVP candidate in the top 7 just was a disaster this week so Lamar is standing there as the only guy not eating glue.

Darnold moved the offense down the field smoothly. It may just be the 49ers system and not Purdy? Purdy has looked terrible. The 49ers started just throwing a bunch of screens and quick passes with Purdy. Sam goes in and they actually throw the ball further than 10 yards. And he marches down the field and scores the TD.
