You have created a false dichotomy. Its not "people who do not want to see Lance only fear his potential success". Its possible just do not want to see even worse QB play. Lance is worse than this. He is less accurate. He is slower to read a defense and he makes worse decisions. The only positives here are that he can throw it further (inaccurately) and he can run better (unhelpful here).
