The thing is, we gave Burrow and his receivers a ton of room underneath. They jumped on our receivers from the line of scrimmage.

Please! He's the only lionheart on defense, except for DMO. Everybody else is as soft as Alizae with a Chaser. The defensive Coordinator should have designed a defense to take J. Chase out of the game and let somebody else beat you.
If not Chase it would’ve been Higgins. Cowboys are not a very good football team.

maybe we shoulda tried that with chase
We've got two All-Pro corners. They won some battles with Chase, but lost some, too. They also found him in zone against other players, because he's a good player. Cincy's a good team and our strategy had held them to 20 points before the blocked kick mistake. That's better than most defenses have fared against them this year. Of course, we gave up 27 because of the kick mistake, so that's around Cincy's scoring average. The Bengals have other weapons besides Chase, so it's hard to stop them.

Moron?.......I hope that's not what's going on in the lockerroom. If so, tells us all we need to know. We've had many players make mistakes......no one on this team is exempt.....though the board thinks so.
Yet all mistakes ARE NOT equal.

I’m not sure? Maybe he’s the 3rd read and they don’t get there? But he seems to be open a lot. Would have to look at film to see more.
I just don’t know what it is. I mean apparently he leads the league in targets but I guess it’s when the targets come that’s the issue.

No other Cowboy touched it after the block though, so if he hadn't touched it, it would've died wherever the Bengals first touched it, and would've been Cowboys ball. Unless I'm missing something.
Thanks. Blocked or not it’s where the kicking team downs it. That one looked like it was heading out of bounds

So you go into next season with one real difference maker in the front seven not two. Overshown isn't that guy. He can't stay healthy.

Rico Dowdle has gained 100+yds in back-to-back games.

First Cowboys RB with back-to-back 100+yds games since Tony Pollard did it Weeks 8 & 9 of the 2022 season

FYI: the last RB with back-to-back-to-back 100+yds games was Zeke Elliot: Weeks 6, 7, & 8 of the 2019 season.
