It's possible, but I think in the Washington game, he only ran it because there was absolutely nobody in his path.I fear that it was him wanting the glory of a big return.........why?.......Washington game, the dude that fielded the onside kick could have just laid down and the game would be over but he wanted to score a TD and get glory for himself.
I know it is not the same player in both instances, but there seems to be a culture thing here of "I am getting mine".
Here, he probably would have been crushed as soon as he caught it, so I really don't think he was trying to be special. Also, I think I read something about MM saying he just had a brain fart, right after the game.
