Cingular phones, what to choose?

Buy a Samsung phone. They are a bit more expensive, but the quality is incredible.

Also, don't get one with a crapload of features that you don't need.

My 2 Cents

Ya, its now been over 4 hours since I got the phone and no service. Their excuse is " we had a lot of orders today it should work soon. " I asked them how soon is "soon" they cant give me an answer. What a load of crap. Makes me really want to be a cingular customer.

I'm shocked they sold you an ATT phone.

I always get the phone that comes with the rebate, bringing the price to zero. I put my cell through a beating, so I never get a fancy one.

I have had several friends that have complained about the razor phones. A few have returned them.

Yeah I've heard the same thing. A guy friend told me that the battery life on them sucks. But then I don't know how long they sit on the phone either. If they're like him, then I can see why they'd say that.

The phone is cingular i also had to change my plan. It finally worked at 9 last night which is what 5 hours after I left the store with the phone. They said it was because I was a former AT&T customer that it was going to take some time to move my info over into the cingular system and activate our sim cards.

I don't remember how long it took for our phones to activate after we switched but I know it wasn't 5 hours.

My wife has a razr that has one issue. The charging: sometimes works sometimes doesnt. There are times when an hour after unplugging it is will still say charging -- huh? .

I have a V551 that has a problem with the ear speaker (I have had it for 2 years, but I rarely talk on the phone), my buddy had the same phone with the same ear speaker problem. . I will probably buy a new phone this week, because unless there are no sounds around me, I have to turn on the speaker to hear calls sometimes.

Seems like entirely too long. Usually they activate it within an hour.

Just got the samsung blade when i added text to my plan (used to pay an extra 20 at the end of the month)
Im the first to admit that it is a razor knockoff but i got to say, i like it a lot better then my friends razr, although his is like the very first one that came out.
