Man Mosley is awesome.

We should be calling the jets to see what they would give us for Lawrence.....

They are trying to revamp their defense ASAP.

I heard on the radio this morning that the Commanders were going after him hard.
I guess they are trying to have an all Alabama defense

CJ Mosely was the best player on the best defense last year. He is easily top 3 at his position. As the cap increases, so do the salaries for top players.

Every team has the same money to spend. The bad teams "tend" to have bad QBs

QB
OL
DL

If you’re good at 2/3 you’ll be s playoff contender. SB teams tend to be great at at least 2/3. It’s always been that way and always will be. You can throw as much money at linebacker as you want and that fact won’t change.

*unless you are the patriots. Not a single pro bowler on the OL or DL.

Yep and they’re also spending to compensate for bad drafting.

My point is that they can't spend any more than anyone else in any given year. In fact, there are cap minimums which fuel these salaries. It might be that the Jets must spend in order to not violate the collective bargaining agreement. So, they figure this is the best way to do that.
