Claiborne and McClain status for Jets

it was already announced on twitter that McClain is out and Mo is doubtful..........

Now, stopping the run and pass defense is an interesting topic. Wonder how Lawrence and Douglas play?

Concussion protocal is now affecting the linebacker group.

Great week to cut your #3 corner, after having cut the guy he replaced in the prior week.

A 4th straight injury plagued season for Mo...bye-bye! Mark Barron who went #7 was also a bust he was sent packing 2 years ago. The draft is such a crapshoot which is why it's hard for me to get excited about a top 10 pick too many don't pan out.

mo is a huge bust for his draft position now if it would of been the fifth round not so much

Most of this board seems to want to lose the final 3 games anyway, so they should welcome the fact that players will be out.

Welcome to the new status quo. They are the ones that stick their nose in there on leads which create, outside of kickoffs and punts, the most violent collisions in the game.

I don't want them to lose at all but I just don't think they have a chance at all to win. I don't think they can help but to lose.

It sure is a crap shoot, and hind sight is 20-20 in most cases.
Look at the Texans when they drafted Clowney, misses rookie season with an injury, then been hampered with injuries this year.
Just think if we drafted him and the outrage....LOL....

Meh. I'm guessing that means Jones is probably taking most snaps at CB?

If that's the case I'd put him on B. Marshall and see what he's got. Throw him in the deep end, see if he can swim.

As much as I'd like to win. I'd much rather use these games to evaluate and try new wrinkles.

I'm scared to see the Jets defense against this offense. Moore may get a start before we all anticipate.

I guess this is why McClain tried to get back into the game last weekv. When your contract is based on games played and other incentives annoyances like concussions can be costly.

Mo is buying his ticket out of town. They can only bring him back on a very team friendly deal. Like 4/12m.

Clowney is an example of the risk. Khalil Mack went #4 in 2014 he's had 14 sacks this season including 5 last week. There was a debate and some thought he was better than Clowney he's certainly looked better so far. Having a top 10 pick puts you at risk to end up with a huge bust that can really set your franchise back. I wouldn't be opposed to trading out of the top 10 and picking up an extra #2. Checkout the drafts over the years you'll be amazed how many top 10 picks went bust or become just average players. As you look through those drafts you'll see some players who become great players who were taken later in the first round into the second round.

Hate to agree with you, but yeah..which is why I never root for losses like the draft nerds. Last year was supposedly the deepest rb class ever and washed up McFadden has rushed more than the entire class outside of Gurley

You get draft picks for 4-5 years for almost nothing. It isn't a one year contest.

If you put those guys behind our OL they would have a lot better numbers.

The only one the looks really bad is Gordon but SD has been brutal this year.

You dislike me that much that you hate to agree with me? lol Seeing that you're responding to me I'll take the time to respond to a slam you made the other day. I responded to someones post in which they stated something very clearly so I had no idea their comment was a form of sarcasm in response to a lengthy post by someone else. Not one person would have known that unless they read the lengthy post he was responding to. The comment he made about losing Callahan is the exact comment that's been repeated by many on this board. He's the one who went overboard submitting lengthy posts as a form of damage control acting like I should have been able to read his mind. Below is his entire post and my response to it.

Bill Callahan leaving ruined the O-Line.

It wasn't all just Callahan leaving it was the OL having it's ego stroked with many comparing it to the Great Wall of Dallas and that any back could run behind them.

As for the Cutler debate you claimed was ridiculous I responded to a comment that the Bears should bench him. My response was who do the Bears have at QB that would give them a better chance to win than Cutler? No one responded because there isn't a QB on the Bears roster that gives them a better chance to win than Cutler. Jimmy Clausen was released in late Nov and David Fales was just brought up from the Bears practice squad to backup Cutler and he has no NFL starting experience. Do you think he gives the Bears a better chance to win than Cutler? I didn't think so! lol

That's all well and good, but almost everyone says, just draft a guy in the 4th round and we.ll be fine, and it's very rarely the case for a rookie to come in and contribute from that deep in the draft.
Going thru last years draft thru the first four rounds, the numbers are pretty bad, if not pathetic.

I do. Stop the bleeding. Rip off the band aid. I don't care about the "warm fuzzy feelies" fans and players get from winning. It's the players and coaches fault that they're in this position anyway. No need to give anymore false hope.

When I saw SEVERAL TIMES 10 yard routes being ran 1 yard short of the stick and the fact that we're abysmal at picking up 3rd and 1's it let me know exactly what this team is this year. Better luck next year.
