Wow, this kid is truly a stud. Yes, he allowed a touchdown, but he was just locking his receivers down. People keep saying J.Jenkins > Claiborne but Jenkins has almost 2 maybe 3x Clai's targets and he was abused all game by Nelson.

He was lucky to not get called for DPI on that 4th down. Not terribly impressed by him, but he's better than the 50 million dollar corner (which doesn't mean much apparently).

I know about it. It's another stupid statement in an ocean of monumentally idiotic statements made by people who claim to be "fans" of the Cowboys.

#1 pass defense in the NFL from the word go and we've got fans actually *****ing about our secondary. I'm absolutely dumbfounded.

He's been playing very well. Very impressed so far for a rookie.

I honestly thought Mo would struggle a little bit this season, but he really hasn't. He's been terrific. I knew he would be a shut down corner eventually, but I thought it would at least take him a full season. I was wrong. He already is a shut down corner and you saw today that he also has ball skills. Terrific draft selection.

Especially with him missing so much of the off season. Very nice pick.

Did you see the awesome job he did turning the RB into the defense in the 1st half? Moose even commented how great of a job he did.

I like Claiborne. He is playing well. He is not, however, a shutdown corner.

Dude its absolutely amazing at times.

i think it's a bit early to start using the "shut-down" label, and we really have yet to see a team specifically going after him on a consistent basis. teams have actually seemed to target Carr more often which has been unexpected.

however we definitely see signs that we got ourselves a baller out there who can become a great one.

I agree Claiborne looks like a long term solution at corner.

Carr has been abused so teams continue to test him.

With the rules they have in place to promote offense I think shut down corners will be few and far between. More like guys who make you want to pick on the other corner because it is much easier pickens.

What have you been watching? I think you just want to complain.

I am not completely satisfied with this defense overall, but certainly happy with our CB's.

We don't have the "#1 pass defense in the NFL", not yards, not completion percentage, interceptions or anything. Check your stats again.

We were No. 1 in yards per game until this week. Now we're No. 2 behind San Francisco. And we already discussed how relevant that is in a thread last week.

You need to revise your definition of shut down corner.

People refuse to look at hard numbers and instead like to put on their tinfoil hats and spam "I KNOW WHAT I SAW" ad infinitum.
