I think they said a week or so ago that they are willing to do it however the player wants. If he wants to deal directly with them, they will. If he wants to let his agent handle this, they will. This may be more on Micah for sitting down and talking to the front office without his agent.

I chose the wrong profession. Agent fees of 3% for a player making 1 million a year is 30k each year. Have 10 players each averaging 10 million a year is 3 million a year.

Its because Jerry can massage the ego of the Star Player...... the Agent (wouldnt stand or care for it) and would turn the platitude into a weakness as it shows the buyers desperation.

Jerry still lives in an era where his personality would/could get the deal done. I suppose it's a part of his failing, he still lives in a business world that doesnt exist.....its now pay the money.
