The only thing I can liken this too, for a ray of sunshine is growing up in New York and remembering the outrage when the Yankees made Joe Torre the manager.

We got rid of Buck Showalter, who fan favorite and a player’s favorite because he developed most of those core 4 90s superstars.

And the headlines read - “ clueless, Joe” - he was a laughing stock — and the rest is they say it is history we were untouchable and unstoppable.

The only other thing I’ll say is I liked Marty Schottenheimer as a person and he was a pretty damn good football coach.

They're a part of the problem especially being that its an offensive coach, ceedee is ready to run the best curls of his life
How do we know that Brian had some great ideas to call plays on offense. But it was MM holding him back?

This may be the blessing in disguise we all been waiting for.

Did you forget that fast who our QB, we're doing what's BEST FOR HIM, what makes him comfortable! You think they're going to change much of the offense??? In the first press conference, Shotty is going to praise Dak and love on him and say we're doing what he likes, and we're not changing much!" lol

what if I went back in time and told you that after the Green Bay debacle Jerrry would go all in after a full year and pony up the brinks trunk for Schottenheimer. I bet you all would feel satisfied.

He ain't building a staff. He is taking who Jerry gives him. That is a big part of why he is head coach.
Exactly. Any time you may think to yourself 'oh maybe it's not bad, so and so might build a really good coaching staff and team', remind yourself that the coach is being picked precisely because he WILL NOT have that control and will cede all decision making to Jerry and his robot son. The Joneses can pick the staff, do their talkshows where they pretend they're football guys, and start guys like Zeke. That's the goal.

Not the hire I wanted. I'm willing to give him a chance but I'm afraid the roster may doom whoever is the head coach. I'm really interested in the staff he would build.
That's not how it works in Dallas. Head Coaches are told who will be on their coaching staff by the JonesBoys.
