Exactly…something like that you tear it down because you’ve seen their ceiling

Three 12-5 seasons in a row and you only get 1 playoff win?…and not only 1 win, you only look competent in ONE of those games the rest you look like you’ve never played football

You wipe em out…

Oh help me……if I was Jerry this team would’ve had so little talent that 0-17 might’ve been in play because I’m rebuilding from the ground up
100 percent agree….Yep….league would’ve hated me. I would’ve went full take by trading everyone and getting picks for them. I basically would’ve did the complete opposite of what they did lol.

It wasn't luck that gave them multiple FA's that left with him from our team...it wasn't luck that ownership went out and picked up Latimore, Wagner and countless others. This is what I'm trying to get at. It's not just the QB.
Yeah people keep talking about Daniel’s and yes he is a big part of it…but let’s not forget Wagner, Luva, and those other guys.

DQ is a very basic coach in that he has wild success with his defense in the first seaosn or two as he gives them total freddom.
Then the bills come due when other teams adjust to what those guys are doing.

Detroit was down like 5 DBs. I wouldn't go too crazy here

What DQ did that hurt Dallas so bad was be willing to pay like 8 guys formerly in Dallas to come play in DC.
Dallas depth took a massive shiv in the gut.

He ain't lying .....I was there (LOL)

If Hill thinks Dan Quinn would have taken this Cowboys roster to the playoffs this season, he is crazy.
It‘s not the QB or the head coach or the coordinators, despite there being better ones in the league.

The Dallas Cowboys have struggled against good teams and in the playoffs for years because Jerry Jones never provides a complete team. An offense must have at least 2-3 real receivers who can make plays, a decent OL and QB, along with a run game. None of that requires super stars. A defense must have a strong front 7 that can stop the run, a decent pass rush, decent safeties, and at least 3 competitive CBs.

The Cowboys have decent safeties and competitive CBs when healthy, along with a good pass rush thanks to Parsons. We do not have a strong front 7 that can stop the run game without selling out.
The Cowboys have a good QB, not great, and 1 great WR. Nothing else….nothing.

A great QB and coach is wonderful, but that won’t turn this mash unit into a contender.

Dan Quinn created a very good defense in Dallas, one of the best in many years. The defensive roster was not perfect, but I don't blame him for that. In the GB loss, Dak's turnovers scripted the exact type of game Dallas couldn't be trapped into.

MM should have been fired after that loss, and Dak allowed to play out his deal. Quinn should be the head coach of Dallas right now.

I never understood those who cheered his departure. It was Dallas's loss, but Quinn is in a much better place.

After hearing about the Quinn/McCarthy feud....And McCarthy's insecurities about his job....I wouldn't be shocked if Quinn sabotaged that Green Bay gameplan just to stick it to McCarthy. We did things in that game we hadn't done all season.

A year later....Quinn looks like a genius....And McCarthy looks like the fraud we all knew he was.

This sounds like what happens when you put a staff together vs allowing the coach to put his own guys in place. Minds/personalities/ideas are all over the place.

Dan Quin still gave up 200 yards yesterday. DC was the bigger idiot, continuing to turn the ball over in the passing game.

How does your running back only get 14 carries, when he is averaging 7.5 yards a carry???

If the Eagles win today, they will run for 300 yards all over DQ and humiliate him.

I get that but no other position can affect a team more than the QB.

Well..I'm not surprised... I stated in here between the two I'd of kept DQ over McCarthy. But the real problem is Jerry DUFUS jones. DQ can do what he wants to in Washington without the grim reaper looking over his shoulder. That being the case. What HC in his right mind would want to come to Dallas where the owner GM sets you up for failure versus setting you up for success. I hope DQ laughs his azzz off at Jerry if Washington wins a Super Bowl this year. He's already did in one year. What Jerry couldn't do in 30 years. Get his team to a NFC Championship. Eat a raw doughnut ,Jerry.....

Rebuilds can be done quickly, but you have to be willing to take a risk.
There was no guarantee Daniels would play so well. He's the exception, even among first rounders.

Quinn coaches daniels as much as he did Matt Ryan.
Quinn is the head coach of the team. He coaches them all. He's responsible for all his coaches and players. He's responsible for the entire team, how they play, how they practice, how they perform in tough situations.

Daniels is incredible, but would he have done just as well with Jeff Saturday as his HC?

Why compare a bad coach to an average one?
