Quinn sold us out and his defense had one of the worst performances in playoff history.
Yup, I wont forget that seive of a defense getting mauled in the trenches.

This may be that rare situation where dude might be a better Head Coach than a coordinator..

I have to give him and Daniels both credit for the year they having. He's got them playing as a team.....reminding me of last seasons Texans

So why is he having so much success? Is their squad that much better than ours? I'm listening...
Yes, it is. Better defense, better run game, better receivers. Their new ownership took our starting C and several DEs because Jerry doesn’t pay a free agent unless it’s a star he loves.

It's easy to think that......but getting lucky isn't so easy as Jerry is proving to the rest of the NFL.

Dan did his job. He prepared the team and they went out and punched the #1 seed in the nose on their home field. Sure Daniels was great last night, but Quinns defense had 4 INTs. Those turnovers were the difference in the game.
Quinn’s squad still couldn’t stop the run. Detroit’s turnovers were the difference in the game. It happens.

Um, look at the way our defense played against GB and tell me why we shouldn't have been mad. The Packers ran all over us all day and Quinn's defense could not stop them. Then they let GB WRs running open by 15 yards down field at least 4 or 5 times for big plays. It was embarrassing. How did that happen to such a great defensive coach? I don't blame Quinn completely because the responsibility is with the guy who puts the players on the roster. But I don't think moving on from Quinn was such a bad idea.

I give Quinn credit for his victory over a Lions team that clearly was not ready to play yesterday. But that same Washington team lost to Dallas and almost lost again despite all of the Cowboys injuries.

Don't take too much away from 1 game. The rookie QB has been impressive and so has his offense, but let's not sit here and pretend Quinn was some hidden gem when he coached for Dallas.
Agree, Quinn and Washington have taken advantage of this opportunity in the playoffs. Beat a terrible Tampa team in round one and destroyed the injury depleted Detroit defense. What I find funny is what would this board be posting if you flipped Dak with Goff right now or Herbert last week? Don’t get me wrong I would much rather have Daniels because of his contract but you can’t tell me he didn’t look pedestrian the 2 times we saw him this year.

I’ll do you one better

Imagine if we beat Tampa and Detroit on our way to the nfc title game

This board would be saying “Detroit had injuries and Tampa sucks, the real test is next week”

Good tweet, Clarence.

Yes, bash the “fans” for being mad after being blown out during the playoffs.

Yes, bash the fans who want Jerry out but are powerless

Yes, bash the fans who all would have preferred keeping Quinn over Mike.

Yes. Good tweet, Clarence.

Media is such a tool. Any idiot could say anything. Get attention for hindsight bias.
Quinn will relapse to old ways.

He may…his defense can’t stop the run whatsoever so if they play Philly in the title game it’s a good chance Philly controls the clock and runs for 300 which is very possible

Issue is Jaylen hurts is a one man wrecking crew…give him 15 minutes TOP and he can get you 35 points

Quinn was halfway out the door in that playoff game.
I lean this way too. Professionally he should have given it his all but I think he was focused on his future and the players knew it. Add in a QB they all suspected would give it away regardless and that's the team performance we got.

I mean, his defense laid a nasty egg in the biggest game of the season. Fans should've been upset.

Agreed.

People will feel the same about Glenn and johnson after yesterday. Doesnt meant they will be bad coaches long term

This board now pretending they didn’t want Quinn out after that game is pretty hilarious

It's not just that Quinn has Daniels.

You have to credit him for building this team, in one year, from the way to the play to the players themselves. He also hired the right coaches, too. He did the exact same at Atlanta.

He's just a really good football coach.
How is it not daniels? If they took drake maye are we praising him today?

I agree. People around here hate/d on him, but I always respected his coaching. Had the Legion of Boom, took Atlanta to a Super Bowl, had a good defense in Dallas (despite missing some pieces), and now has Washington in the NFC Championship game.

Seems like he found himself some decent coordinators which was a big indictment of MM, his first choices for DC and OC were pretty bad,,.

We got the Detroit defense yesterday for Quinn last year in the playoffs—injury depleted and couldn’t stop anyone.

His defense on the WC yesterday was the Quinn defense hitting on all cylinders and what he put out on the field more often than not, i.e., the TO generating one that had the team lead the league in TO differential for a number of seasons.

Have a few injuries on the line and an opponent that has someone like Travis Henry running behind a strong offensive line, and you’ll see the former too.

And legit LBs. Wagner on last year’s would helped significantly.

People need to remember last year’s team went into the season paper thin at LB and depending on an injury prone LVE. They had zero depth. That is totally on the FO. Warshingtonn this year with Quinn tells you all you need to know that it wasn’t Quinn that wanted it that way.

QB is the reason why. Daniels has turned that team around. Quinn is just along for the ride. Dude got lucky
It wasn't luck that gave them multiple FA's that left with him from our team...it wasn't luck that ownership went out and picked up Latimore, Wagner and countless others. This is what I'm trying to get at. It's not just the QB.
