Um, actually, I'm confused by the whole thing. I know they can win but I don't know if they will put forth ther effort to do so. They have been playing so poorly and drearily, without enthusiasm for the past month, it makes me wonder if they'll show up or not.

In my view, those who do not play with intensity and determination tonight need to be traded or cut or flushed down a really big toilet or something. If you can't get excited about the playoffs, you don't belong in pro football.

You know I could have stomached the loss to the Saints. And I could have even accepted a nail-biting loss to the Eagles at home.
But to get beat by the Lions was just inexcusable. If Parcells was the CEO of a real business he would have been fired after that.

the problem is it wasnt a nail biter, it was a b!tch slapping...just like the New Orleans game...the defense also looked bad even in the two games we won

the topper has to be the Detroit loss though...it was just inexcusable and as you said, Parcells ould almost assuredly be canned if was a CEO somewhere

Even with our good teams in the 1980's we'd get "punked" somewhere along the way by a good team. SF, Denver, Washington... someone would lay a 38-17 beetch slapping on us during the season. I can accept those. But to be owned by Detroit-- at home... I can't accept that.
