I really think we're looking at a possible #1 or #2 overall pick. Top 5 at worst.

It certainly looks like Cleveland could go anywhere from 2-14 to 6-10. Good stuff.

The worst part about our first round pick deal with Buffalo a couple of years ago was watching them put together a little run at the end of the season to make our first round pick less valuable.

Having looked in depth at Cleveland's roster and schedule, I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally don't think we have to worry about that this time around.

Damn, good find ogt... we may have a legit chance at mcfadden... However, we could end up spending too much on a player we won't want... and considering how difficult it will be to draft down from a top ten pick, I hope we don't get pigeon-holed into giving a player a huge contract.

What I hope we do is pull a NE and trade one of our 1st round picks away for future picks, and keep collecting future picks for a year we really need two 1st rounders.

we all know the saying on any given Sunday, but hell I could see the Browns losing those games to the Bills and the Texans as well.

Houston has Matt Schaub. Could be a wild-card. Never know.

And Oakland's defense is really stout. They've added a couple RBs that could help out immediately.

So, really you never know. It doesn't look good for Cleveland, nonetheless.

I so want to see Quinn and the Browns vs. Russell and the Raiders.

I figure they'll probably win one division game. It's pretty hard to go 0-6 in the division. Probably a win v. Pittsburgh. They're learning a new system, lost Porter, and have some rooks coming in on the defense.

Me too, but I doubt they'll both be starting by Week 3. Maybe.

Please they are not going to lose all 6 games in their division again

Pit was 8-8 (yes big ben was hurt) but they lost quite few more players from the SB run and we will see how the New Head Coach is.

Bengales where 8-8 (Palmer should be back and better than last year) The defense still looks average

I thinking they will be 6-8 wins I am hoping for 6 or less but I doubt they are going 4 or less wins after they added Quinn and Thomas

A 6-10 record put you at 7, 8 or 9 this year. I consider that the worst case scenero for the Cowboys.

Just as a reference to this weekends draft, you can see what a 4-12 or 5-11 record can do for you.....

2007 draft order

Team Record Strength of Schedule
1 Oakland Raiders 2-14.555
2 Detroit Lions 3-13.523
3 Cleveland Browns #4-12.535
4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers #4-12.535
5 Arizona Cardinals 5-11.500
6 Washington Commanders 5-11.512
7 Minnesota Vikings 6-10.488
8 Houston Texans 6-10.504
9 Miami Dolphins 6-10.543
10 Atlanta Falcons 7-9.457
11 San Francisco 49ers 7-9.500
12 Buffalo Bills 7-9.574

Lets face it, it is most likely going to be one of these teams fighting it out with Cleveland for worst record next year.

That being said, which one of the above teams would need a RB bad enough to take them in the top 5?

Oakland, yes
Detroit. Probably not, Kevin Jones will be healthy by then
Tampa. No, they have Cadillac
Arizona. No, they will still have edge ( I think they'll win 7-8 games anyway)
Washington. Nope, Betts and Portis
Minnesota. Nope, just took Adrian Peterson
Houston, Yes, they have Ahman Green, but he's no spring chicken
Miami, No, they will need qb if they are bad this year.
Atlanta no, they'll win 8 games
Niners Nope, they'll also win 8 games
Buffalo. Nope, they just took Marshawn Lynch

So You've got Oakland, and Houston. If Cleveland can lose more games than those two, and your chances of getting McFadden go through the roof.
