If they use their #1 pick and don't trade out of it and take anything other than a QB then they have missed the boat. No way Barkley is worth the #1 overall pick.

I think they will take Mayfield #1 overall and then look at options. Barkley may we'll be there at #4 if they want him.

If I was Cleveland I would be looking to drop back 3 or 4 spots on that 4th overall pick and parlay it into a couple of additional players. They can get as good of a player at 7 or 8 as they can at 4 and some team will pay a ton of draft capital if they want a QB still available at 4.

I think the Giants would be IDiOTIC to take a RB at 2. They either take a QB or move back a few spots. That's what I would do if I were them. They could probably drop to 10 and still get one of Nelson, McGlinchey or O. Brown. Vea would probably also be on the board. They need OL help in a bad way if they are going to keep ELI around.
 
Now that they have Tyrod Taylor (who everyone knows sucks BUT the Browns), I can easily see them taking Barkley.

He won more games than their starter last year...

If anything he's a stop gap while they get their new QB integrated and let Taylor take all of the lumps

or wait until next year to get a QB since frankly this years class is not all that
 
Traded for Juice Landry and Tyrod Taylor and got rid of Kizer for Randall from GB.
 
CLE better draft Barkley first. Get a QB at 4.

Giants don't need to get their hands on Barkley, and don't trick yourself into thinking they'll pass on him. New GM constructed a run heavy Panthers team.
 
Tyrod Taylor doesn't suck, how bout give him some talent other than rb. He's far from elite, but far from terrible. Barkley most overrated prospect since Richardson.

Exactly, there are 0 QBs this year worth the number 1 overall pick and 1 RB paws down worth the 1 pick.

Im not arguing to take Barkley, but its a crapshoot between who the best QB will be.
There are 4 that various say are best and then two more that some argue will go in the first (though I doubt it)
They have the 1st and 4th overall picks.
Even if they did take Barkley, they will get a shot at 2 or 3 of the top 4 QBs
There's a VERY strong chance that Mayfield is there at 4 or later.

I stopped reading after you said they’d draft Mayfield #1

Barkley is the way to go and it’s not even close. They got their starting QB today in Taylor and now can wait to see what’s left at #4 to pick their QB of the future.

I believe they'll take Barkley and still get the QB for development in 4th pick. Or could get Chubb for defense or possible Nelson for offense. Don't know how good Browns defense is.

Agreed I like Taylor- was actually hoping that no one would sign him and we could bring him in. I enjoy seeing players work on their craft and seemingly get better every year.

I don’t know what the stats are but Taylor can throw the deep ball pretty well.
 
My take fwiw.
If Cleveland likes a QB this year He goes at no.1.
I just don't see them risking that He'd still be there at 4.
If they don't take a QB at no.1, I think it's most likely they trade no.1 to a team that likes one of this years QB's.
If Nelson and Saq are both gone, I think they trade down from No.4, I don't see them taking DE's 2 years in a row, so Chubb is out, some team will make a good offer to move up for one of the QB's.
 
How they grade the 4 QB s will determine if Barkley goes #1.
If they all have very similar grades then take Barkley at 1 and one if the Qb at 4.
If not take YOUR QB at 1 and one of Barkley, Chubb or Nelson or minkah at 4
