Isn't 50 the max on the Wonderlic?

i am glad you got the point

You are

A) A Boys fan bagging on homer Skin fans or

B) A Skins fan defending your idiot RB

Dunno which

These are harmless interviews of a guy just being himself. What's the problem with that?

Take off the blue-colored glasses and look at it from an objective point of view.

I agree that he's just "being himself"... but consider the "self" that he's revealing.

He leads off the interview saying he wants to talk about "X-rated" stuff. He talks about filming his own porno. He generally came across as a fairly disreputable character.

I'm not sure if I'd be thrilled from a character standpoint if Julius Jones gave that same interview.

Finally someone that understands!

He is the face of our organization and it's great to have a player like him on the team. He seems like he'd be cool to hang with, and he sounds laid back.

He can also back up his "semi-retarted" talk, by the numbers he puts up.
He is easily a top 5 NFL back.

I think those interviews and costumes are silly but harmless fun.

He is not afraid to make fun of himself in doing those and I see nothing wrong with it as it is not hurting his team or his play.

Which would you rather have, Portis having fun in those costumes and acting silly, or Sean Taylor in the offseason pulling guns on someone?

Portis is just having harmless silly fun...no harm no foul.

2 quick hits....

#1- The max on the wonderlic is 50 and he did fine.......obviously Portis is doing ok as an nfl player and surpassed the nfl back avg so he's doing fine....

#2- If you can't understand Portis you simply haven't grown up around BLK ppl.......Some blk guys have that cool and casual thing where they don't open their mouths when they talk.......he does the same thing......I couldn't imagine him yelling at anyone either.......odd....

Yeah I am sure Gibbs isnt too thrilled with this interview, but atleast this guy is open and honest about everything. It is near impossible to find people like this in the world, esp a public figure like Portis. I agree that the whole filming porn thing might have been too far, but come on, we are all humans, and he is being honest about his thoughts, and actions. We would be foolish to assume that football players are angels, and must be perfect in regards to character.

I agree with you there 100%. I'd much rather have Portis' open honesty than Gibbs' fake, holier-than-thou phoniness.

I can't imagine that these two guys get along well at all.
