The mocks keep coming. I'm thankful that there's only one more Friday before the real draft.

Let's play with the Aldon Smith rumor. What if it's legit? How does the strategy change if he's the pick? Today, I'm putting up two five-round mocks. One takes the offensive Smith, Tyron, at the top. The other takes the defensive Smith, Aldon, at pick 9.

IF we take a OLB or DE or even a CB in the 1st then RT is the pick at 40.
Cannon or Carpenter is the pick. Maybe even Gilbert.
Or Jerry will try to package 40 and 71 to get into the bottom of the 1st if Carimi or Sherrod at 24-26

9. Tyron Smith OT/USC

40. Stefen Wisniewski C/Penn State

71. William Rackley OG/ Lehigh

4. Devon House CB/ New Mexico State

5. Henry Hynoski FB/ Pittsburgh

Kendrick Ellis wouldn't be on my draft board.

Brandon Harris a very good value at 40, but I'm seeing him going in round 1 (in some big mocks).

Wisniewski sucks, I wouldn't even draft him in the 5th.

Wisniewski has been called the most technically sound Center in the draft. But does not have outstanding talent. I cannot see taking him in the second unless we trade down late in the second.

Maybe you are right. I've seen him in the mid second in mocks, in the late second, and out of the second. He's all over the place. Kirwin gives him to the Raiders at 48 in his latest mock.

I think he's a smart, tough guy. He's the guy the Giants pick. While he isn't an outstanding athlete; I think his athleticism is good enough from what I've gathered.

He played in a zone scheme at Penn State, and that isn't a bad thing at all. He's up to 313 now and is 6'3. He fits the size profile for the Cowboys, and they had a scout at his pro day. He can get stronger in an NFL weight program, and he is a plug and play player at center or guard. He looks like a bull, and he has enough athleticism for the position. It was just one small snap shot, but I saw him mauling some poor guy on the second level (in the end-zone). It was a touchdown. Dallas could use that on their old, deteriorated line. I'd rather have a tough nosed, high character player like Wisniewski, than a player kicked off of South Carolina's team for drugs. Quincy Carter?
