I have the 2006 book on me and Joyner states that Pacman had a horrible first half in 2005 and then a pretty good second half in 2005.

I can't find my 2007 Scientific Football book, but I remember Pacman's stats were not very good. I also remember comparing them to STATS Pass and they were pretty close to each other, which wasn't good.

Even still, if Pacman Jones was one of the best defensive backs in the league, I interpret that as him being a top 5 cornerback in the league. And I don't really care what NFL people may say, if he was truly a top 5 corner, there would be a lot more teams interested in him right now. Also, he can't tackle to save his life.

Well Joyner wrote an article and said that Jones was near the top in YPA and one other important metric in 2006.
