Bland is next man up on the outside if something were to happen to Diggs or Gilmore. He'd shift outside and (for now) we'd probably play Mukuamu inside ... until Lewis gets back. I'm just acknowledging that Bland wasn't that great outside in the preseason, but neither were most of our backups.

I think that's one reason we traded for the outside corner from Miami. Might not have felt the need if Bland had played like a star there or if Scott had not played like a rookie.

agreed, and hopefully we won't need to find out too early in the season unless it becomes a necessity and maybe MUCH later in the season this miami traded player can be ready and we wont have to move bland. I hate the double move to cover up an injury.
