Man, IDK, Hurts was pretty bad last year.
Something was going on with Hurts. I've never seen a QB so disinterested. Not that he is any better than Dak but he played so well against KC on the biggest stage he gets a small pass.

These are the 10 QBs that are at least good. The next range is the mediocre...Tua, Purdy, Lawrence, Hurts. So they got that right.

Dak is better than Lamar, Herbert, Goff and current Rodgers tho.
No he is not ... and imagine thinking Purdy is mediocre... I also hate to break it to you Dak is closer to Lawrence than is Lamar and Rodgers.

You have to cut him a little slack. He did play most of last season with a fractured finger, on a team that saw its coach get fired mid-season.
If this was Dak these people would ask Jerry for a statue for his bravery.

I can’t understand the Jackson thing.
He wins a lot of games and stresses opposing defenses. They have had a great rushing attack since he's been there. What they've lacked are big name wrs. It's unconventional but he's a great player.

Only 3 QBs from the NFC listed. NFC should be wide open this year and there for the taken. We got this folks. Let's Go Cowboys!

Most of the voters, coaches, scouts, execs, probably vote based on how they’d value a QB in their offense. Wouldn’t make much sense in any other way. Jackson and Allen would fit any offense due to athleticism/running; the rest are proven pocket passers, some with a little mobility, experience, or great promise and youth. That would explain the absence of Hurts and Purdy in my opinion. Both are great in their offenses, but probably are not viewed as good fits in most offenses.

I don't get the Jackson infatuation. he runs well. he is abysmal in the playoffs. regular season champion because its hard to prep for him in regular season.

and Dak at 10? these GMs are utterly stupid. dak doesn't belong in the league. surprised we don't see Rush up there, perhaps he is at #11.

stupid coaches, GMs and execs. they clearly lack football understanding.
Jackson is more of the perfect fit for the Ravens and runs their offense well.
He puts up very similar Dak stats.

Thus pushing him down to 12
My best advice is don't get too caught up in the numbers/rankings.
Mahomes is the shark in the tank, and then there is a significant drop off to a couple potential Barracudas, and the rest after that are just chum and bait fish.
Unfortunately, great QBs are very hard to find and obtain, average QBs in this league get paid top end dollar due to league wide desperation.

Purdy is mediocre. Better than Jimmy G but how much better than the 5-2 Jimmy who lost his job instantly on another team?

Dak > Lamar. The lacking contribution for the Ravens lack of success comes from Lamar's side of the ball. His 8-10 points per game.

The lacking contribution for our lack of success is the defense giving up 30 points 3 times under the tenure of Dak.

Dak is Lawrence??? Lmao

I would say Rodgers is too low. Goff has solidly outperformed Dak in playoffs but not in regular season So I would agree with that. Stafford I think is too high.

I mean right now there is a bigger gap between #1 and everyone else to an extent I really cannot remember.
Goff is weird in that he is only good in a clean pocket in a dome. He is the worst QB in the NFL under pressure and is awful outside of a dome. Fortunately the Lions have a dome and an elite OLine.

dak playoff record 2-5, Jackson playoff record 2-4, I just don't think he is the 4th best QB in the league
It’s because scouts, GMs, and coaches think of football like adults and do not treat wins like a QB stat. They understand wins stats are for pundits who either aren’t smart enough to understand what gives a player value or think their viewers are too dumb to get it.

The WRs won't go there because he's terrible at getting them the ball.

Perfect fit as long as they don't want to go to the super bowl.

Lamaar is way too one dimensional, and playoff D's eat that alive. Dak would do better w/ that Ravens team than Lamaar does.

That could be argued in a completely different thread.
