OK...having thought about this over and over for the past month, I think that I've finally decided on something....

I leave Wade as the DC for this next year. The Defense has been fine and actually didn't play as bad as the score indicates today. We had miscues on the offense which didn't help the defense.

I leave Garrett as the OC for this next year and don't want to see us rated #2 in yards per game but middle of the pack when it comes to points scored and 3rd down conversions and the like. He would also have to give the bulk of the carries to FJ and TC. To have an OC that can't see something that everybody else can for another year would just be unbelievable.

We can't have another season with the #2 rated O getting 7 points against GB, followed by 7 points the next week against Washington. Not to mention our struggles against teams such as Jacksonville and KC.....and then the kicker of a 3 point output in a playoff game.

I'd give them both another year and if there are more improvements than they can stay on longer....but stagnation and regression gets you terminated.

That's where I stand today. We can't make rash judgements and just fire, fire, fire everybody and their mother.

Progress and don't Regress.

Yeah, I agree. I think after last year's debacle, turning things around and actually winning a playoff game did represent a successful season for the Cowboys.

But the word success carries much bigger expectations next year.

I never called it a success though.....I would never call a season a success unless we won the SB. That's the ultimate goal as you don't get a trophy for second place....much less 8th or whatever we finish at.
