Ok we all know we are poorly coached ( well most of us i am gathering ) but for to long people have put our coaching department 2nd fiddle in the blame game while the likely blame targets in Dez and Dak are taken to town and literally burnt at the stake as they are the easiest targets to blame when we do not win.

Today's Superbowl win by the stinking Eagles confirmed how bad our coaching staff is looking at what Philly did and the way they over came hurdle after hurdle and took the game on to always beat higher ranked opponents which won them a Superbowl with a back up QB is a direct influence of great coaching and calling plays that suit your team not your own ego.

Now i ask...... if you reckon Garrett was coaching the Eagles in the last 4 weeks of the NFL season do you think they win multiple playoff games let alone one?????

There is literally a whole Pacific Ocean between our own coaching staff and head office compared to the current Eagles outfit and it stinks to high heaven and if we can see it *** is wrong with our head office???

Yeah it hurts to see the Eagles win but seriously when you compare both 50+ man rosters regarding us and Philly there is not a lot between the teams besides coaching.

Talent's important too. The Eagles had a LOT of talent on their team and they won because of it.

But, the Pats are loaded with JAG's. And JAG's have taken them to eight super bowls. Just watch how they play, knowing when not to out of bounds, when to check down, when to be aggressive and when to not, how to adjust at halftime. That's coaching.

Pats and Eagles were well coached teams with solid game plans and in the case of the Eagles a coach willing to be aggressive, and take chances.

Dallas has none of that on the coaching side.

Some of us are waiting for his entire contract to expire to make these claims. Most here are certain that Red
isn't the coach. You will gripe and complain for nothing and no end. Two more years thats the story line.
Carry on.

I agree and this is what hurts more and in the last 2 decades you tend to get success early as a HC or NOT AT ALL and we are in the not at all basket currently!

The worst thing that ever happened to us as a franchise was last season and the coach of the year award cause it gave JG more years and made Jerry look like a self proclaimed genius.

We are seriously screwed going forward now on the coaching front and Philly is not going backwards while the GMen could do anything with a Top 2 draft pick and the Skins have a point to prove with the Cousins trade.

That's not true about taking chances its just people, like the results. People know good and flipping well Dallas does what the Eagles did last night and they don't get them folks whining like babies about why don't we just do the regular stuff blah blah blah. I hate sticking up for the coaching staff but I need people to be consistent. Maybe you are but most people know they would be complaining. I've saw many a game threads when they go for something different people complain when it doesn't work. Most people are just results driven and not worried if what was done was a good thing that didn't work that time.

Oh, you're right. It's about if they execute.

I told my wife, when they did the 4th and goal "This will either go down in history as the best or worst play in history"

But, I'll say, coaching decreases the error of difficulty. It decreases the margin of error. I'll say, the way the Eagles were executing, the risks they took were not dumb, they were educated, logical and wise, but the coaches had drilled a winning strategy in, and saw it was working.

Chances? They're always good when educated. I feel both teams took educated chances.

The a Eagles definitely took some good risks but with that sad sack Pats D tonight they didn't feel risky outside the 4th and goal.

You're right I saw no D either that's why them chances weren't that risky. Without that strip fumble I think the Eagles lose

They absolutely lose. But, it's the random tip of the football sometimes. Chance wasn't on the Pats side. They rolled snakeyes. It is what it is.

Yep, Jerry is not going to fire Garrett so we have to wait for his contract to expire after two more seasons.

Not like we are going to win anything, its just a waiting game at this point.

It’s really impressive how much better their coaching got from last year hear when it wasn’t all that good.

That's called "building a program".........................take note that it didn't take 8 freaking years and counting, it took TWO YEARS.

Meanwhile Garrett has missed the playoffs 5 out of 7 seasons but don't worry, "its a process"

He built a college based offense to help Wentz out after his epic failure of a first season also. He's done a really nice job all round

I blame Jerry and Stephen first, then the coaching.
The sad thing is the coaching will change at some point but the first two.....
