Coaching Coaching Coaching

Garrett and this whole coaching staff is a joke! Garrett would never of changed his offense to benefit Nick Foles or been creative enough to beat the Patriots with a whole team full of HOF players. He could have the 92 Cowboys and he would of lost the game. Ive said it a million times and Im gonna keep saying it!! We have seen Garretts ceiling. The hope is gone for the Cowboys, it doesnt even matter who they draft or the FAs they bring in because the well has been poisoned and the Dallas fans have lost any sliver of hope! Dallas will not win anything as long as Garrett and this coaching staff are here!!!

Ok we all know we are poorly coached ( well most of us i am gathering ) but for to long people have put our coaching department 2nd fiddle in the blame game while the likely blame targets in Dez and Dak are taken to town and literally burnt at the stake as they are the easiest targets to blame when we do not win.

All year I put the blame on the coaching staff over the players for the offensive problems we had. It was a coaching debacle. It's grotesque that Linehan still has a job with the Cowboys. He should have been fired for Atlanta alone.

Have also said said every offseason that Garrett's game management will never last us through the playoffs to a SB. Too many good teams, too many close games where coaching will matter.

Most of the talk is over blaming Dez vs. Dak because fanboys completely personalize these issues with players, and have to make it all one guy or the other, when in fact both have their limitations.

Today's Superbowl win by the stinking Eagles confirmed how bad our coaching staff is looking at what Philly did and the way they over came hurdle after hurdle and took the game on to always beat higher ranked opponents which won them a Superbowl with a back up QB is a direct influence of great coaching and calling plays that suit your team not your own ego.

Now i ask...... if you reckon Garrett was coaching the Eagles in the last 4 weeks of the NFL season do you think they win multiple playoff games let alone one?????

There is literally a whole Pacific Ocean between our own coaching staff and head office compared to the current Eagles outfit and it stinks to high heaven and if we can see it *** is wrong with our head office???

Yeah it hurts to see the Eagles win but seriously when you compare both 50+ man rosters regarding us and Philly there is not a lot between the teams besides coaching.
Totally agree bro!!
Except Im glad the Eagles won because it just shows how important coaching is! Plus you know Jerry doesnt like it and he is going to have to see this Eagles team shred his hopes of winning anything for the next 10 years!

As much as it hurts us, imagine how humiliating the Eagles run to a super bowl victory has been for Jerry and his futile efforts.. The Eagles fired Chip Kelly halfway through his 3rd season b/c they didn't like the direction of the team. 2 years later, they win a super bowl........with their back-up QB and without their all-pro left tackle. Chip had a better win% than Garret. Jerry has got to be looking at the eagles and wondering how the heck they turned the ship around so quickly and won with all those injuries.

I said to myself that we will never see Garrett hoisting up that Lombardi trophy. Some think the solution is benching Dak and all problems are solved. Or that we would have been guaranteed to win the Superbowl if Romo had stayed. But, bottomline the Cowboys aren't winning Superbowl with Garrett as headcoach.

What Philly and NE have, we don't have. We have Jason Garett, the clapping idiot and an blind owner/son managing the team. As far as scheme in the passing game goes, we don't have that either..we have nothing but an O-line and Zeke, Imo. It's a stone age offense that tries to get cute with situational football, like must runs plays, we'll pass it, etc. That's our pathetic outsmart 'em scheme with 12 yard curls and 2 yard outs...just beat your guy is the motto. What a pathetic joke

What we saw last night was talent at coaching and the QB position, were a lot farther away then I thought.

Pederson is starting to remind me of a young Belichick. Have to give him credit for handling the team the right way and winning the SB in his 2nd season. Great job all around in Philly.

Talent's important too. The Eagles had a LOT of talent on their team and they won because of it.

But, the Pats are loaded with JAG's. And JAG's have taken them to eight super bowls. Just watch how they play, knowing when not to out of bounds, when to check down, when to be aggressive and when to not, how to adjust at halftime. That's coaching.

Pats and Eagles were well coached teams with solid game plans and in the case of the Eagles a coach willing to be aggressive, and take chances.

Dallas has none of that on the coaching side.

I wouldn't call Bruschi, Seymour, Vrabel, McGinets, Moss, Gronk, Welker, Edelman, Wilfork, those OL-men, and many more JAGs

I said it during the season, took all kinds of grief, and I'll say it again. The Philadelphia Eagles passed the Cowboys like they were standing still. Or even worse, moving in reverse. Which is what going from 13-3 to 9-7 looks like.

Two words are all that need to be said about difference coaching makes: CHRIS HOGAN.

Not nearly as talented as Dez or TWill in terms of speed or jumping ability but he gets open and makes play after play. A lot like Thelen in Minnesota.

Probably not but I came to that conclusion after Parcells left who was probably our last hope of a real HC with Jerry.

Many teams are passing us by this era on their way to at least championship appearances.

But Jerry doesn’t care. He’s only interested in winning his way.

Metaphorically or figuratively.

It sure looks that way. And as long as he can get away with it (financially), he has no reason to change his approach.

It's all part of the narrative..

Those early Patriots Superbowls featured some great defenses.
Harrison, Wilkfork, Vrabel, Bruschi, Ty Law, and I'm probably forgetting others were all Pro Bowl players in their day.

The latter Patriot teams featured Randy Moss, Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Cooks, Welker and Edelman. All Pro Bowlers.

People just like to use that "Patriots win with jags" narrative because in their mind, we are one good coach away from winning the Superbowl.

You need coaching and talent.

Probably going to be called an overreaction, but the Cowboys might as well just tank the 2018 season. The coaching staff has 0 shot at winning us anything. Might as well start looking forward to a high draft pick
