Each week Calvin Johnson is never slowed down. Every defense knows who is going to get the ball.

So why is it so hard for Dez our best receiver to find the ball. Dez may not be Calvin...but close to it. Coaching has to be the reason. I just don't understand anymore.

Not only that, but when the Lions were driving needing a score to bring them closer to the Steelers (37-27), Pittsburgh had Calvin Johnson doubled, resulting in a Pittsburgh interception. Too bad we weren't smart enough to recognize you need to double Megatron.

I won't mention the teams, but I was watching a local team ranked very high in high school basketball the other night, the other team not ranked. The ranked team had stars everywhere, and lost. They were unorganized on defense, had no real plan on offense, the other team blocked out, got rebounds, and took down the giant.

Coaching is it.

coaching makes a huge difference. The giants have the best coach in the division and down the stretch it just might be the difference.

After they beat green bay today and beat us by double digits next week they will be a game back of the eagles. That is all the momentum they need.

this week the ny media will fire up the giants by revisiting Jerry's comments on the giants faking injuries, now Jenkins did but the ny media wont say that, they will turn it into NY vs moron Jerry like they always do and it will have that team and city in a frenzy. They are going to beat the crap out of our sorry defense.

coaching is huge, we don't even have a head coach and the giants have one of the better ones in the history of the league.

Wow. I totally forgot we ran the hurry up that game a lot.

How things have changed.

Garrett was brought here for his offensive "innovation and expertise." The offense during his tenure as coordinator/ head coach has had one consistently explosive season- 2007. For that reason alone he should be fired if this team falters again. If the offense can't be consistent and produce points then Garrett being here is pointless. He's had more than enough time to make this thing go. That's the issue as I see it.

I agree with the premise of your post.

I played basketball in high school. We werent the most athletic, werent very tall, And just overall not as talented as other teams in our conference. But we were coached well and we hustled and got every loose ball and played great defense. Its the only reason we were competitive. Football is completely different especially at the NFL level, but coaching and leadership makes a big difference.

Dez is not near Calvin's level. We can just stop with that.

Yes he is. Calvin is just featured way more. Dez can do it all on the football field. Calvin is better, but to say dez isn't even near his level is wrong. In the open field I'd much rather have dez with the ball then Calvin.
