I love them and my company has one so I get my fill. I will probably never buy one though and it is because of my snobbery. I used to have a Tassimo solely because they had Starbucks. I am a complete Starbucks snob and while I can apologize to the masses for my shortcomings it is simply never going to change. Well, Tassimo and Starbucks parted ways and I was left with a useless coffee maker that still sits under my cabinet collecting dust. Lesson learned is that those sweet disks of Xanadu can be ripped away from me at a moments notice should I corner myself into another maker. I envy the purchase because that thing is the bomb-diggity, but I can't get myself to pull the trigger on it because of my other experience.

Keurigs' are amazing!!

I wasn't much of a coffee drinker a few years back, then I got my GF at Keurig Cuisinart for Xmas a year ago, and I'm pretty sure I use it as much as if not more than her. Not a huge hot beverage fan, but I use it to make some wicked iced coffees :)
The variety of flavored Kcups you can get is extensive, definitely my favorite part about the whole thing. Definitely get your Kcups online at their site, every 4 boxes you buy you get to pick a sample back with 5 different flavors for free. Great for trying out new flavors you're afraid to buy a full box of. The boxes are also cheaper online than at stores. If you buy from them and sign up they end up sending you good coupons and deals too.

We luv our Keurig.

The one thing I hate is stale, nasty coffee. You know the stuff that has been sitting on the warmer for about 6 hours... and has turned into something you can patch roads with.

Not with the Keurig.

And my wife likes different flavors than I do... No problem!

I don't drink coffee but my wife does with gusto. I got her a Keurig Cuisinart 3 Christmases ago. I was one of the best things I've ever gotten her. She said she didn't want it as her normal coffee maker was fine. It took her a day to realize she would never use an old coffee maker again. She loves it. The flavor assortment is great and they even have English Tea that I like to drink during the weekends.

I like the Krueig a lot but call me old fashion but I still like old fashion coffee from the coffee pot. My mom got a Krueig for Xmas and it's pretty sweet, she got the deluxe version.

Huge upgrade health-wise for you if your previous beverage of choice was that can of diet coke sitting beside your gift.

thumbs up

Got one of these this year as well. Love it so far. Mine came with the cartridge that you can fill with your own coffee too. That's nice if you're on a tight budget or like getting fresh ground coffee.

Never heard of this keurig thingy before. however, I'm familiar with what I assume is one of their competitors, Flavia. Got turned onto them back in 2004, because my job had Flavia machines.

10 years later and I'm suffering because my new job doesn't have one. I get by with chocolate Coffee Mate creamer.

Unsophisticated as I am, I buy green, unroasted coffee beans online from Dean's Beans and they have coffee beans from all over the world but my favorite is Peruvian. I roast them to my own preference and then grind my freshly roasted beans to the size I prefer and then percolate for a cup of coffee I can't duplicate anywhere. Sometimes I mix beans from different places or degrees of doneness for a unique treat. No artificial flavorings, just pure coffee.

I live in west central Texas, a huge minimum wage area and I doubt there is a Starbuck's within a 90 minute drive so you just have to do the best you can with what you have.

Love my Keurig machine - Donut House is my favorite (it's just like Dunkin Donuts coffee)

I bought my daughter one for a housewarming present last year when she bought her first house and she loves it but personally I prefer my Bunn, it just makes good strong hot coffee

Coffee isn't really any better for you than pop unless you don't add any sugar or creamer.

Black coffee is very good for you if taken in reasonable doses. Full of antioxidants and other good things.

There is no scenario where diet soda is good for you. Few things are worse, actually.

My wife does. That's why it was so easy getting her a cup of coffee. Just pour and serve.
